Commander Raiden approached them when he saw wagons entering the fort.
"Where are Quee-" He stopped his words halfway when he realized he had almost let his tongue slip. "Where are the two people we sent to rescue you?"
"We don't know." Layla lied, "They said they had something to do and told us to leave first."
"I see." Commander Raiden did not suspect her because she showed no sign of lying. "You can rest once you are finished here."
"Understood, Commander." Layla responded politely.
Then, Commander Raiden headed to his office.
At the same time, in the Tuiziya Kingdom's fort, Commander Charles and his subordinates were preparing to attack.
Layla had already informed them of their arrival, so Commander Charles knew the time to strike was near.
"I can't wait to kill them!"
"Me too!"
"My hands are itching from slaughtering them!"
