"Stop glaring and just continue walking, will you? By now, old Ben must have found out that the three of us are together. If we're moving in the same direction, he must be thinking that I've captured you already," Kenneth said, pushing me forward. "But Lan wasn't an idiot like him."
"Is Commander Lan an otherworlder, too?"
"No," Claude answered.
Kenneth fumed. "That bastard is from here, but he's almost as strong as us. He's wasting his strength working under a twisted organization. Tch."
Commander Lan was the captain of the Alpha Team - 1, and also the leader of all teams. He was General Rivas, one of the three Chambers of the NSA, second in command. It was a shame he wasn't one of the otherworlders.
Imagine if the top-ranking teams in the NSA joined forces against them; it might not threaten the organization, but their foundation might falter.
