Chapter 1 - A New Beginning

In the vast expanse of the Heaven Dou Empire, within the walls of a third-tier city, a small, rundown house stood as a testament to the struggles of its inhabitants. The night was dark, with only the faint moonlight casting an eerie glow over the crumbling structure. Inside, a young woman, exhausted and worn out, lay on a makeshift bed, her body wracked with pain. She was alone, with no one to aid her in her time of need.

The woman, whose name was Liu Yan, had no family to speak of. She was a solitary figure, forced to fend for herself in a world that seemed determined to crush her. She worked in the local inns and pubs, serving drinks and food to the patrons, but her life was a far cry from the one she had once dreamed of.

One fateful night, Liu Yan's life took a drastic turn. She had been working late at the local tavern, serving drinks to the patrons. As the night wore on, she found herself alone with a man named Yu Luomian, who was heavily intoxicated. He was a member of the Blue Electric Sect, a powerful and prestigious organization in the Heaven Dou Empire.

In a moment of weakness, Liu Yan had been overpowered by Yu Luomian, who took advantage of her in her drunken state. The encounter left her feeling violated and ashamed, and she knew that she would never be able to forget the trauma she had endured.

As the days passed, Liu Yan discovered that she was pregnant with Yu Luomian's children. She was devastated by the news, knowing that she would have to raise the children on her own. She was an ordinary person, with no special abilities or talents, and she knew that she would have to work tirelessly to provide for her children.

With a final, anguished cry, Liu Yan gave birth to two children, a boy and a girl, in the dead of night. The room was silent, except for the sound of the newborns' cries, as they entered a world that seemed determined to crush them from the very start. Liu Yan, spent and exhausted, gazed upon her children, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions - joy, fear, and uncertainty.

The boy, who would later be named Liu Cheng, was a sturdy child, with a strong cry and a fierce determination in his eyes. His sister, Liu Erlong, was a gentle soul, with a soft mewling cry and delicate features. As Liu Yan held them in her arms, she felt a sense of purpose, a sense of responsibility, wash over her. She knew that she had to do everything in her power to give her children a better life, a life free from the struggles she had faced.

As the night wore on, Liu Yan tended to her children, doing her best to care for them despite the lack of resources. She knew that she couldn't do it alone, but she was determined to find a way. As she gazed upon her children, she felt a spark of hope, a spark that would drive her to fight for a better future.

The days that followed were a blur of exhaustion and struggle. Liu Yan worked tirelessly to provide for her children, taking on odd jobs and scavenging for food. She knew that she couldn't keep this up for much longer, but she was determined to give her children a chance at a better life.

As the months passed, Liu Yan's children grew, and with them, her sense of pride and accomplishment. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but she was determined to give her children the life they deserved.

But as her children grew, so did the challenges they faced. The stigma of being illegitimate children weighed heavily on them, and Liu Yan knew that she had to do something to change their circumstances. She couldn't bear the thought of her children being ostracized and marginalized, forced to live on the fringes of society.

And so, with a heavy heart, Liu Yan made the difficult decision to take her children to the Blue Electric Sect, hoping to recognize Yu Luomian, the brother of the sect leader and the father of her children, and their ancestors. She hoped that by doing so, her children would be accepted as legitimate members of the sect, and she could finally rest easy, knowing they would be taken care of.

But little did she know, the Blue Electric Sect had its own rules and traditions, and the road to recognition would be fraught with challenges and humiliation.
