The sixth floor awaited.

Regidrago—the Dragon-type legendary titan.

When viewed from the side, its form resembled a dragon's head with its jaws spread wide. A blood-red crystalline orb occupied the center of its skull-like structure, surrounded by seven blue dots arranged in a distinctive pattern.

According to ancient human legends, when Regigigas, the colossal titan king, had attempted to create Regidrago using crystallized dragon energy, there hadn't been enough material to complete the task. As a result, only the dragon's head had been formed.

The legends claimed that if Regidrago were ever completed into its full draconic form, it would possess the terrifying power to destroy the entire world.

This apocalyptic possibility had terrified the people of ancient times. Fearing that Regidrago might one day be completed and bring about global catastrophe, the ancient civilizations had used the combined might of entire kingdoms to seal and imprison the incomplete titan whenever it was discovered.

Chris studied Regidrago carefully, confirming his earlier prediction. As expected, Regidrago's level was 96—exactly four levels higher than Regieleki.

However, despite the impressive level, Chris felt confident that this battle would actually be easier than his encounter with Regieleki. After all, Regidrago was a Dragon-type Pokémon, and his ace in the hole was Mega Gardevoir—a Fairy-type powerhouse with a natural type advantage.

"Gardevoir," Chris called out calmly.

Mega Gardevoir teleported to his side in an instant, ready for battle.

"Use Moonblast!" Chris commanded.

Mega Gardevoir raised one elegant hand and pointed it directly toward Regidrago. In response to her gesture, the sixth floor of the Snow Peak Temple was suddenly plunged into what appeared to be eternal night. Brilliant moonlight descended from the ceiling itself, coalescing into a devastating beam that blasted toward the Dragon-type titan.

Regidrago had already awakened upon sensing the presence of an uninvited guest, but it made no aggressive move to attack first. Now, as it registered Gardevoir's incoming assault, it found itself unable to dodge despite being aware of the danger.

"BOOM!"

A massive explosion rocked the chamber. Powerful shockwaves rippled across the sixth floor of the Snow Peak Temple, accompanied by billowing clouds of smoke and dust.

Within moments, however, the smoke was dispersed by invisible psychic force, revealing the Dragon-type titan's condition. A shattered translucent barrier surrounded Regidrago's body—evidence that it had attempted to defend itself with a protective move. The barrier had failed to completely block the attack, and Regidrago had sustained damage despite its defensive efforts.

Seeing this, Chris couldn't help but wonder silently: Facing a Fairy-type attack from Mega Gardevoir, where did you find the courage not to even attempt evasion?

Of course, he understood the answer. Regidrago, like Regieleki, was a Pokémon designed to excel in one particular attribute while accepting weakness in others. Where Regieleki represented the ultimate in speed, Regidrago embodied the ultimate in raw durability and HP.

In the traditional battle mechanics, Regidrago's HP base stat reached an astonishing 200 points—among the highest of any Pokémon in existence!

However, the price for this incredible stamina was mediocrity in other areas. Its relatively low speed meant that Regidrago simply couldn't evade Mega Gardevoir's attacks, no matter how much it might want to.

Therefore, when facing Mega Gardevoir, Regidrago functioned essentially as a highly durable punching bag—capable of taking tremendous punishment, but ultimately unable to avoid it.

The initial strike had connected successfully, but Mega Gardevoir was far from satisfied with the damage dealt by a single Moonblast. She immediately raised both hands high above her head, calling upon the moon's power with even greater intensity.

This was her signature technique—the exclusive royal skill of the Gardevoir line.

"Moon Queen's Domain!"

In an instant, a brilliant crescent moon materialized on the ceiling of the sixth floor, followed by thick layers of concentrated moonlight that filled the entire chamber!

Bathed in the radiant lunar glow, Mega Gardevoir appeared ethereal and beautiful, as though draped in a gossamer veil and wedding dress. She looked like a bride moments before her ceremony—breathtakingly elegant.

However, while Mega Gardevoir basked comfortably in the moonlight, Regidrago instinctively recoiled from the same illumination. This wasn't ordinary moonlight—it was infused with concentrated Fairy-type energy, and every ray felt hostile to the Dragon-type titan.

Being trapped within the Moon Queen's Domain was like being a fish laid out on a grill—the outcome was already predetermined. Regidrago would be systematically worn down until it could no longer continue.

Without waiting for further instructions from Chris, Mega Gardevoir gracefully adjusted her dark dress with a subtle flourish. In response to her movements, all the moonlight permeating the sixth floor began to dance and swirl in perfect synchronization.

The power of countless moonbeams condensed into streams of light, which rapidly compressed and solidified into arrow-like projectiles. Each one gleamed with a cold, merciless radiance as they locked onto their target—the Dragon-type titan Regidrago.

"Moonblast!" Mega Gardevoir called out, her voice echoing with power.

She assumed an archery stance, drawing back an invisible bowstring. Immediately, thousands upon thousands of luminous arrows materialized around her.

"WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!"

"THUD! THUD! THUD!"

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

The arrows streaked through the air like a meteor shower, each one finding its mark on Regidrago's massive form before exploding on impact. The barrage was relentless and overwhelming, continuing without pause.

The assault lasted for three full seconds—an eternity in battle—before the storm of light-forged arrows finally ceased.

It wasn't mercy that stayed Mega Gardevoir's hand, but simple necessity. Her opponent had lost the ability to continue fighting.

With a graceful gesture, Mega Gardevoir extended her hand and used her psychic powers like an invisible palm. She gently lifted the smoke and dust that filled the air like a curtain being drawn back, revealing Regidrago's defeated form lying motionless on the floor.

A Poké Ball sailed through the air in a perfect arc, striking the fallen titan and drawing it inside.

Five legendary golems—all captured and accounted for.

As Chris retrieved the Poké Ball from Gardevoir's telekinetic grasp, Regidrago's status information unfurled before his eyes:

[Regidrago (Dragon-type)] (Legendary Pokémon)

[Level: 96]

[Ability: Dragon's Maw (Increases the power of Dragon-type moves used by this Pokémon by 50%)]

[Individual Values: HP (31), Attack (31), Special Attack (31), Defense (31), Special Defense (31), Speed (31)]

[Moves: Bite, Twister, Ancient Power, Dragon Claw, Dragon Breath, Dragon Dance... Dragon Energy, Hyper Beam, Explosion]

[Held Item: Primal Pearl]

Chris stared at the status screen with mild disbelief. Five legendary golems with perfect IVs across the board—even in the original games, such a collection would be considered a priceless treasure worthy of being passed down through generations.

And he'd obtained them all so easily.

As a legendary titan "created" in the same generation as Regieleki, Regidrago also possessed its own unique ability and signature move.

The Dragon's Maw ability was particularly noteworthy—a 50% increase in Dragon-type move power, which was actually superior to Regieleki's Transistor ability in terms of the boost percentage.

Perhaps Regigigas's true favorite wasn't Regieleki after all, but rather Regidrago?

Of course, Chris was just being facetious. In his previous world, where Pokémon had been merely an anime and video game franchise, Regieleki's Transistor ability had originally provided a 50% boost to Electric-type moves as well. However, due to Regieleki's overwhelming dominance in the competitive battle scene, the ability had been significantly nerfed in the ninth generation of games.

The Primal Pearl carried by Regidrago was also the largest of the collection—approximately three times the size of the pearl Chris had obtained from Regirock. Correspondingly, the amount of energy contained within it was roughly three times greater as well.

After collecting the Life Orb from the sixth floor's stone platform, Chris took stock of his achievements. The spoils of battle had been thoroughly claimed.

With that task complete, he'd successfully cleared all six upper floors of the Snow Peak Temple and gathered all five Life Orbs that served as keys. The next step in his journey was clear—he needed to descend to the three lower floors and confront Regigigas itself, the colossal king of the legendary titans.

Just as Chris was preparing to return to the first floor of the Snow Peak Temple to access the lower levels, a girl's startled exclamation suddenly rang out from behind him.

"You... Does Team Galactic have members like you as well?"

Chris turned around slowly, curious about who had managed to reach this deep into the temple without him noticing their approach—and what they meant by their cryptic question about Team Galactic.
