[Held Item: Primal Pearl]

A perfect IV Pokémon.

After encountering the legendary bird trio, Chris hadn't been particularly optimistic about the potential of the legendary titan trio with their multiple forms.

He hadn't expected to be caught off guard again.

The last perfect IV Pokémon had been little Shaymin.

However, what surprised Chris wasn't Regirock's individual values. After all, even with perfect IVs, he wouldn't be training Regirock for battle.

What truly astonished him was the item Regirock was holding.

Primal Pearl: Legendary item containing power from the world's creation—Primal and violent. Only beings from the Primal era can control this force!

A legendary item, but with no stat bonuses—only a description.

And judging from that description, this wasn't a simple legendary item.

Power from the world's creation... Primal...

This made Chris think of Hoenn's two titans—namely Kyogre and Groudon.

Both of them could undergo a form change called "Primal Reversion."

After Primal Reversion, their Abilities changed to "Primordial Sea" and "Desolate Land."

The environments created by those two Abilities represented the scene at the world's creation.

Could this Primal Pearl be related to Hoenn's Primal Reversion?

Chris shook his head slightly.

There was no way to know for certain—the above was merely personal speculation.

He couldn't confirm whether this was truly the case unless he could capture Hoenn's two titans in the future.

He removed the Primal Pearl from Regirock and stored it separately. After all, it was a legendary Pokémon item. After returning, he'd take it to the laboratory for research—perhaps he'd discover something unexpected.

"Now that the Pokémon on the second floor has been defeated, shall we check out the third floor?" Chris suggested.

Gaeric hesitated, but Sabi immediately agreed.

"Absolutely."

Gaeric looked at Sabi in astonishment. The captains of both their clans hadn't arrived yet. Rushing forward recklessly seemed too risky.

Risky?

Dangerous?

Once you witnessed this powerful trainer's strength with your own eyes, you wouldn't consider it risky at all.

Sabi gave Gaeric a reassuring look, indicating she'd explain later.

"However, we should send a message to the captains."

"Then I'll take the lead," Chris offered, showing respect for their concerns by volunteering to go first.

"I'm coming too!" Akari followed Chris like a loyal companion.

"Thank you," Sabi acknowledged.

Chris led Garchomp and Akari to the third floor.

Sabi and Gaeric remained on the second floor.

The moment Chris disappeared from view, Sabi quickly turned to Gaeric. "Hurry and notify your captain to come to Snowpoint Temple immediately. If I'm right, our exploration progress will advance very rapidly."

"Advance that quickly?" Gaeric didn't understand what Sabi meant.

"Let me put it this way—if the Pokémon guarding the keys on the upper four floors of Snowpoint Temple are similar to the Pokémon on the second floor, then this gentleman might clear the entire temple before our captains even arrive." After saying this, Sabi didn't wait to see if Gaeric understood. She immediately went to the Diamond Clan members to quickly notify Iscan to come to Snowpoint Temple.

Third Floor

The moment Chris's feet touched the ground, a wave of frigid air spread outward.

The temperature began dropping sharply.

The third floor of Snowpoint Temple was significantly colder than the previous two floors.

But it wasn't a serious problem. Gardevoir raised its hand, and invisible psychic energy enveloped Chris's entire body, insulating him from the low temperature.

Simultaneously, Gardevoir's mental power began spreading rapidly throughout the surroundings.

It scanned the entire third floor of Snowpoint Temple like radar, then transmitted the imagery to Chris as usual.

"Hm, quite a few Pokémon living here," Chris noted with interest.

Numerous Pokémon shapes appeared in the three-dimensional model in his mind.

There were about a hundred of them. Most were Pokémon composed purely of ice and snow, such as Vanillish, Avalugg, and Cryogonal.

In such a harsh living environment, and within Snowpoint Temple itself, only these types of Pokémon could survive comfortably.

Additionally, there was an entity with an ice crystal structure guarding the entrance to the fourth floor.

As expected, it should be the Ice titan, Regice.

However, Chris still had one task to complete before capturing Regice.

"Gardevoir, use Psychic to knock out all the wild Pokémon on the third floor of Snowpoint Temple, then Teleport them here," Chris suddenly commanded.

These Pokémon on Snowpoint Temple's third floor would probably all be captured anyway when the Diamond and Pearl Clans explored this area.

Rather than leaving these Pokémon for them, he might as well add them to his own collection.

Perfect—he could add some Ice-type Pokémon to the ranch.

With Articuno's presence, he didn't need to worry about them lacking a suitable habitat. At worst, he could construct an Ice Island like the one in the Orange Islands. Come to think of it, there was also Regice—Articuno plus Regice would be very reliable.

Gardevoir Mega Evolved into Mega Gardevoir.

Lavender energy erupted instantly.

At that same moment, every Pokémon on Snowpoint Temple's third floor felt as though their heads had been struck hard. Their vision went black as they lost consciousness.

Before Chris and Akari, hundreds of Pokémon materialized out of thin air along their path forward.

"Where did... all these Pokémon come from?" Akari looked around at the Pokémon everywhere with wide eyes, rubbing them continuously, thinking she was experiencing hallucinations.

"They're all third-floor Pokémon that Gardevoir defeated and teleported here," Chris answered casually.

"Huh?"

Third-floor Pokémon?

Defeated by Gardevoir?

Teleported here?

Hadn't Gardevoir been with Chris the whole time?

Could it be that... remote attacks were possible?!

Akari found it slightly absurd, but thinking about Chris's Garchomp, Gardevoir's power didn't seem incomprehensible after all.
