The Tree of Beginning, also known as the World's Ancient Tree, was believed to be the origin of most Fossil Pokemon. There were even legends claiming it was the root of the entire world. According to these ancient stories, if the Tree of Beginning were ever destroyed, the world would gradually wither and die along with it.

Of course, no one knew whether this legend was actually true. After all, both the Tree of Beginning and the world were still very much alive and thriving.

But one thing was absolutely certain: the Tree of Beginning and the legendary Pokemon known as the ancestor of all Pokemon, Mew, existed in a symbiotic relationship.

If the Tree of Beginning were destroyed, then Mew would die as well!

This was something Chris had learned from watching the Pokemon movies in his previous life.

The three legendary titans stood in front of Chris, but they didn't launch any attacks. Instead, they stood like three dedicated guards, protecting the Tree of Beginning while simultaneously watching over Chris.

"Are you preventing me from entering?" Chris wondered aloud.

In the anime movie, the Tree of Beginning was portrayed as a very special existence. The entry of creatures from other places was likely to trigger an "immune response" from the Tree of Beginning.

That's right, it worked just like an immune response - similar to how the human body reacts when a virus enters it, causing illness.

Although the Tree of Beginning might appear to have a rock exterior, its body was actually made of living crystal. Because of its symbiotic relationship with Mew, it was truly a living organism.

Therefore, any unexpected intrusion might be perceived as a foreign virus, and the three legendary titans would forcibly remove the threat.

"The immune response would only be triggered against Pokemon that are different from those already living inside the tree. So... if I can make the Tree of Beginning perceive me as one of its own inhabitants, maybe it will be less likely to reject me?" Chris thought, looking up at the Tree of Beginning that was constantly radiating Aura power.

Silently extending his hand, Chris released his Aura power, allowing it to spread quickly throughout his entire body until it completely enveloped him.

The three legendary titans remained motionless, showing no change from their previous attitude.

Chris thought for a moment, then took out Gardevoir's Poke Ball and recalled it, leaving only himself covered in Aura power.

Immediately, the three legendary titans departed one by one, returning to various locations within the Tree of Beginning.

"I guessed correctly!" Chris quietly clenched his fist in satisfaction.

He had developed this theory based on two key observations. First, the Tree of Beginning was constantly emitting Aura power, which had given him the inspiration. Second, Chris had considered the Fang family's situation.

Since he had been able to find the entrance to the Tree of Beginning so easily, the Fang family must have known about it for a long time.

If they knew about this place, the Fang family must have explored it before.

To explore the tree, they would have needed to deal with the three legendary titans. Since the Fang family hadn't defeated the three legendary guardians, they must have found another way to enter safely.

Combined with the Tree of Beginning's characteristic of radiating Aura power, Chris had come up with the idea of using his own Aura power to disguise himself and slip past the guardians undetected.

Obviously, his theory had been completely correct!

Chris controlled the wind currents and flew toward the Tree of Beginning.

The surrounding Pokemon looked at Chris with curiosity, but they showed no fear. The Aura power emanating from him felt kind and gentle.

The power of Aura was very pure and peaceful. It seemed that any creature capable of mastering Aura power, whether Pokemon or human, was inherently good-natured.

Flying past the outer areas of the Tree of Beginning, Chris entered the interior of the massive structure.

Inside, he found a cave-like environment that was extraordinarily bright. The Tree of Beginning was remarkably transparent, allowing the daylight to filter through without any obstruction.

After flying for five or six minutes through the winding passages, Chris suddenly spotted an elderly man.

Dressed in a white training uniform with gray hair, the old man sat cross-legged on the ground with a calm, meditative expression. Like Chris, he was also surrounded by Aura power.

Sensing Chris's approach, the old man opened his eyes and spoke loudly.

"Don't fight while you're in here! If you feel that your Aura power can't adequately protect you, then leave immediately!"

After delivering this warning, the old man closed his eyes again. He didn't seem concerned about Chris's presence and showed no intention of asking him to leave.

"Yes, sir!" Chris quickly agreed. The other person was undoubtedly an elder from the Fang family.

Continuing his exploration, Chris kept his treasure detector handy.

He might not be able to take anything from the Tree of Beginning, but since his device had locked onto something, he at least wanted to know what this legendary item was.

After flying for more than ten minutes, Chris felt that he was getting closer to the center of the Tree of Beginning. He could sense that the Aura power in the air was growing stronger and stronger.

Crystals began appearing around him, each one glowing with a soft, ethereal light.

Finally, Chris flew into a chamber constructed entirely of crystals.

The floor, walls, and ceiling were all made of crystals that emitted a gentle, soothing glow.

In the center of the room stood a massive crystal formation. Above this huge crystal was a small nest-like structure that resembled a bird's nest but was made entirely of crystalline material.

A pink horn lay quietly in the crystal nest, with sparse green vines wrapped delicately around its surface.

The legendary Pokemon item that had been detected by his treasure finder was this mysterious horn.

"Could this be similar to the Rock Horn?" Chris immediately pulled out his Rock Horn for comparison. Both were musical instruments and legendary Pokemon items.

If his suspicion was correct, then this was definitely an artifact among artifacts!

The Rock Horn could increase all attributes of Rock-type Pokemon by 25%, and when blown, it could also boost the power of Rock-type moves by 50%.

Was the pink horn in front of him a Fairy-type item?

One that could enhance all attributes of Fairy-type Pokemon?

Chris had his theories, but he didn't step forward to take it.

There was a very good reason for his caution. This was the Tree of Beginning, and if he had guessed correctly...

"This should be Mew's home, right?" Chris remembered that Mew, who lived in symbiosis with the Tree of Beginning, resided somewhere within the tree. This core location was probably Mew's actual dwelling place.

"Mew?!"

It was as if someone was responding directly to Chris's speculation.

A soft, melodic voice suddenly echoed through the crystal chamber.

In the next moment, a pink and graceful figure materialized in the space before him.

It looked like a pink kitten, with a slender tail flowing behind it, a delicate and somewhat fragile-looking body, and a pair of large, intelligent eyes that sparkled with curiosity and wisdom.

Speak of the devil, and it shall appear.

The legendary Pokemon that had just been on Chris's mind was now floating right in front of him - the mythical Mew!
