"What's going on?" Love asked, tilting her head to the side in confusion when both Till and Ezra arrived at her door that morning.
Ezra appearing nonchalant and unflustered, whilst Till appeared distinctly nervous.
He wrung his hands anxiously and continuously ran his fingers through his hair.
"Ah, well...the thing is - " Till began, shooting Ezra a pleading expression.
He sighed and leant against the wall with his arms crossed, "Don't be mad at him, Love."
A look of fear passed over his features as a new realisation came to him, "Oh! Or me for that matter, please. I was only trying to help out and then things just got a little complicated." He rubbed the back of his head anxiously and Till sighed in disappointment.
'Well, shit. No help. He's going to be no help.'
He took a deep breath to calm another wave of anxiety and averted his eyes from her cold, indifferent gaze.
