Me, a F rank adventurer, was on my way to The Nightmare Forest, easily one of the deadliest forests in the kingdom. The only reason the quest was E rank, was because you only needed to collect some herbs.
As I made my way to the forest, a group of adventurers stopped me and asked.
"Hey man, I haven't seen you around here, are you new?"
Though he was trying to hide it, I sensed a deep killing intent. I tried to act normal.
"Yea, I'm new, I just registered. Anyway, where are you guys going?"
He explained to me, they were going to The Nightmare Forest, but they didn't know the way. So, I showed them the way and then they said.
"Thanks man, you can go now."
When I told them I was going with them, they tried their best to act surprised. I already knew these were probably bandits, trying to take my money, so to teach them a lesson, I had to go inside as well.
After I went through the gate, their attitudes completely changed. They were nice and even helped me before but now, they started asking money for protection. I felt angry, but I still wanted to play along so, I told them I would pay them when we get back. I was shocked how fast they agreed to it, they are truly idiots. Anyways, after that we started exploring the forest. Some trees looked like they were cared for everyday, while some looked dead and even had branches falling off.
Then finally, the first monster appeared, I wanted to see how strong they were so, I acted like I didn't know how to fight. They barely managed to defeat the monster. My system was telling me it was a [Level 1: Goblin], the weakest monster in the forest.
That's when I realized they were truly pathetic. But then, out of nowhere, a window appeared.
[Level 10: Goblin King]
I was shocked since, this area of the forest is known to be almost the safe-zone. Then i saw the group of idiots, who started going to the direction of the monster and as you can expect they all died expect one, who miraculously survived. Then, I saw it, the massive goblin, who was probably taller than a house and stronger than titan. I thought I would die, but then I remembered, when I married Xiaolong, i had received 24 attribute points.

Then finally the showdown began...
The goblin king started throwing rocks at me but thanks to the speed boost I could dodge everything. I literally felt like I could fly because of how fast I was going. The flying rocks kept coming and I had jeep doging them, until another monster arrived.
[Level 15: Death Wolf King]
I was shocked. The Wolf King should only appear in the deeper parts of the forest and for this to happen is impossible. Then, something miraculous happened the two monsters started fighting against each other.
In this moment, the surviving bandit tried to hit me from behind but I took out my sword and sliced him in half, killing him instantly. The monster's fight had also concluded, and the wolf King won. This didn't surprise me as the wolf King is at least 5 times stronger than the goblin king.
Now, the wolf king focused his attention on me and ran towards me but then I used my skill.

The wolf king was pushed back, them without wasting the opportunity I charged in with my sword and slayed it.

I started to feel a surge of pain in my chest, when I looked at my stats, I was shocked.

After killing the wolf king my stats were beyond a normal human and close to a royal knight. I also noticed that "Special Skills" were added and my "Fireball" had turned into "Death Flame". Also my title had changed, I wondered what the titles did so I clicked on it and found out.

This title gives an permanent boost to the skills taken from other people. This title can be leveled up defeating monsters stronger then the PLAYER.
I saw something, it called me PLAYER. I had never saw it do that, so I knew something was wrong. But I remembered I had to collect the herbs.
After collecting the herbs I went to guild to get my money. I came out of the guild to look for a place to say as I didn't want to go to the Ling house. So I found a place to stay and tomorrow, is the day to level up.
