He felt the sharp pain disappear from his chest as something feels like it gets pulled out from it. "A new job was posted by a client, I wasn't going to let it pass." He speaks with no emotion behind his voice.
This guy sounds heartless, maybe that's what you need to survive in a place like the tower. Emotions here will do no one any good, especially someone like me.
