A man with neat black robes and a practiced smile. He looked to be in his late twenties and wore a C-Rank badge proudly on his chest.
"Greetings, Junior Brother," he said in a warm voice. "I'm Liu Nin—a C-Rank Adventurer. As your Senior, may I offer you some advice?"
He placed a hand on Reon's shoulder.
"C-Rank quests are incredibly dangerous. Even I struggle with them at times. You shouldn't overestimate yourself—especially not because some beautiful girls praised you."
His tone turned serious.
"Value your life. You don't need to prove anything to anyone."
Reon clenched his jaw, anger showing on his face.
He slowly removed Liu Nin's hand from his shoulder and stared into his eyes.
"Senior? Advice? Do you really think you're worthy of either?"
A hush fell around them.
Reon's voice was cold as ice.
"Where was this noble Senior Brother when that brute tried to beat me just because of a bump?
When he wanted to smash my face in over his fragile ego?"
