Ivana stood in the garden, watching the birds flying around and singing, and swans having a nice swim in the lake. Everything was so peaceful in the garden—unlike inside the palace.
It was the Queen's birthday, and everyone was busy making arrangements. She hadn't seen Ryan in two days, and she refrained from missing or thinking about him, just in case the mating mark would summon him, as Snow had said.
No one had paid attention to her or tried to make her stay uncomfortable. She hadn't seen Ryan's father either, nor even his mother. Snow occasionally called her into her spell room, but once she was done with her spells, she would have a servant escort Ivana back to her room.
