Chapter 286 - Chapter 286: Yukino’s Phantom Form

"Are you serious?"

The white-haired man couldn't help but take off his black blindfold, his face showing pure shock, as if he'd just seen a ghost in broad daylight. His mouth hung open wide enough to fit an entire egg.

Gojo Satoru stared at the black-haired girl standing before him, his gaze locked onto her dazzling, blue-glowing eyes.

There was no doubt about it.

It was the Six Eyes!

"It's absolutely true."

Yukinoshita Yukino spoke seriously, "Fight me for real, Gojo-sensei."

For the first time, Gojo Satoru scratched his head awkwardly and cautiously asked, "You don't mean… you even have the Limitless Cursed Technique too…?"

"Yes." The black-haired girl nodded.

Hearing that, Gojo Satoru leaned back slightly and took a deep breath. "I knew it… If you can copy something as rare as the Six Eyes, then a technique should be no problem."

This was an ability far beyond Yuta's copy technique.

Unlike Okkotsu Yuta, who could store copied techniques within Rika but only for five minutes, Gojo Satoru was certain that both Yukinoshita Yukino and Hayashizaki—wherever he had disappeared to—could use the copied techniques freely, just like innate abilities, without any time limit.

The only question was what conditions had to be met to activate this ability. It must involve a complex process.

As for how they managed to copy other people's techniques—no, even a physical trait like the Six Eyes—Gojo Satoru had no clue.

Not even the Six Eyes could see through it, meaning its nature surpassed even that.

After a brief moment of silence, Gojo Satoru let out a light chuckle.

Now that Tengen's barrier had collapsed, the jujutsu world was no longer confined to Japan but had expanded globally. In such an unpredictable and dangerous time, the emergence of a young sorcerer like Yukinoshita Yukino, someone capable of standing on equal footing with him, was undoubtedly a good thing.

Especially since she was on their side. There was nothing to worry about.

As for the secret behind her technique, Gojo Satoru had no interest in prying.

"Alright then, let's have a real fight." The white-haired man grinned. "But if I go all out, I won't be able to hold back. You might end up black and blue, just like Megumi does when we train. You sure you're okay with that?"

"Of course. Please, fight me with everything you've got." Yukinoshita Yukino replied calmly.

If it wasn't a full-force fight, what if the system didn't accept the results?

Meanwhile, in a classroom not far away, a spiky-haired boy suddenly sneezed twice during the lesson.

"Are you catching a cold, Fushiguro?" Itadori Yuji asked.

"No… it just feels like someone's talking about me behind my back," Fushiguro Megumi muttered, rubbing his nose.

"You sure you're not just paranoid?" Itadori Yuji gave him a curious yet slightly sympathetic look.

"Of course not!" Fushiguro Megumi shot back.

Watching the two whispering below the podium, Iori Utahime clenched her fists, a vein popping on her forehead.

She angrily flicked a piece of chalk at them—only for the pink-haired boy to catch it between his fingers with lightning speed.

"Whoa, that was close… Uh-oh."

"Broth, you've changed. You used to take class seriously…"

Sitting to Itadori Yuji's left, Aoi Todo spoke with a dramatic, heartbroken expression.

"What? This is literally our first class together!"

On Yuji's right, Fushiguro Megumi looked completely done.

Further away, an orange-haired girl and a short-haired black-haired girl scoffed at the same time, "Bunch of idiots."

As soon as they spoke, they turned to glare at each other.

"Quit copying me, country girl," Zenin Mai said with an annoyed look.

"Hah!?" Kugisaki Nobara's face twisted like a demon's.

On the podium, Iori Utahime, dressed in a shrine maiden outfit, clenched her fists in frustration as she watched the students bicker below. She was so mad she couldn't even get a word out.

Who the hell thought merging the schools was a good idea!?

Why don't they come teach these students themselves!?

Gojo Satoru!!

Boom!

Before Utahime could finish screaming in her head, the ground suddenly shook violently, as if responding to her fury. A loud explosion echoed from the distance.

The students immediately stopped fighting, their faces turning serious.

"Are we under attack again?" Itadori Yuji asked, frowning.

But Aoi Todo shook his head and looked toward the source of the explosion. "I sense two powerful cursed energies. One is Gojo Satoru, and the other…"

"It's Yukinoshita-senpai," Fushiguro Megumi added.

"Huh!?" Kugisaki Nobara's eyes lit up at the mention of her idol's name. She rushed over, joining the equally shocked Yuji. "Why is Yukinoshita-senpai fighting Gojo-sensei!?"

Realizing it wasn't an enemy attack, everyone relaxed—but their curiosity only grew stronger.

At this point, no one cared about class anymore. Ignoring Utahime's shouts, they all jumped out the windows and ran off.

"Hey! Where do you all think you're going!? Class isn't over yet!!"

Utahime yelled after them, but the students only ran faster. One of them even flew out the window on a broom like a witch.

With an empty classroom, there was no reason for her to stay either.

"Sigh… Seriously…"

Letting out a helpless sigh, the shrine maiden followed the students' lead and climbed out the window. But as she landed, she stepped on the hem of her robe and fell flat on the ground.

"Ugh… That hurt!"

Luckily, the students were too busy running off to see her embarrassing moment…

Nishimiya Momo, still sitting sideways on her broom, gently floated down in front of Utahime and asked kindly, "Sensei, are you okay?"

Iori Utahime: "…I'm fine."

"Good to hear." Nishimiya Momo then flew off on her broom.

Utahime had half-expected her to lend a hand, but she was left reaching out at nothing. Her hand stiffened in midair.

Lowering her head, her body began to tremble, and her outstretched hand slowly curled into a tight fist.

It was the middle of winter, yet somehow, the air around her felt unbearably hot.

Leaving behind a shrine maiden on the verge of breaking down, Itadori Yuji and Aoi Todo charged ahead, their eyes locked onto the two figures floating in the sky.

The sight of Gojo Satoru flying around in the sky was nothing new for the students. Yukinoshita Yukino riding her shikigami in the air was also something familiar to those who knew her.

But at this moment, the girl who moved through the sky like a graceful spirit, elegant and poised, wasn't riding her usual owl shikigami. Instead, she was floating in midair, just like Gojo Satoru.

"Miss Yukinoshita is… flying!?" Itadori Yuji shouted the moment he noticed.

"Is that such a strange thing, bro?" Todo Aoi asked, confused, since he had never met Yukinoshita Yukino before.

"N-No… but Yukinoshita-senpai always used that owl shikigami to fly. This time, though, she's doing it the same way as Gojo-sensei."

"Isn't that obvious?" Todo Aoi said, puzzled.

"Huh?" Itadori Yuji was stunned.

"Because she's using the Limitless Technique, isn't she?" Todo Aoi pointed to the sky.

In Yukinoshita Yukino's palm, a glowing blue orb was forming, shining brightly like a gravitational singularity, pulling in nearby trees and uprooting them as it grew larger.

Once it expanded to nearly two meters in diameter, it shot from her hand, hurtling toward the white-haired man floating in midair.

Gojo Satoru responded by throwing a blue orb of his own. The moment the two collided, they exploded, sending visible shockwaves rippling in all directions.

"Whoa!?"

Itadori Yuji's eyes widened in shock, and he had to squint against the powerful gusts of wind rushing toward him.

If he wasn't mistaken, Yukinoshita-senpai had just used the exact same technique as Gojo-sensei.

Fushiguro Megumi, Kugisaki Nobara, and the others, who had arrived a little later, also saw the moment when the two blue attacks clashed in the air.

Fushiguro Megumi, who had practically been raised by Gojo Satoru, understood the Limitless Technique better than Itadori Yuji. And right now, he was more shocked than anyone else.

"How is this possible!?"

The spiky-haired boy shouted in disbelief, while the orange-haired girl beside him looked at him, puzzled.

"What do you mean, 'how is this possible'?"

They all knew Yukinoshita Yukino could use other people's techniques. It was surprising that she could copy Gojo-sensei's technique, but it didn't seem completely impossible.

"The Limitless Technique isn't something just anyone can use…" Fushiguro Megumi muttered. "It requires extreme precision. Without the Six Eyes, you can't fully control it. Even using it in daily life is difficult, let alone going head-to-head with Gojo-sensei like this."

"The Six Eyes?" Kugisaki Nobara tilted her head, looking like she half-understood.

"It's an extremely rare trait that only appears in sorcerers from the Gojo family. It gives the user unmatched control over cursed energy and allows them to see the flow of techniques and cursed energy in others. Only with the Six Eyes can someone truly master the Limitless Technique."

Fushiguro Megumi explained, his eyes still locked on the battle above.

"Oh, that sounds pretty powerful." Kugisaki Nobara nodded seriously, then asked, "So what's the problem?"

A vein popped on Fushiguro Megumi's forehead as he frowned.

"The problem is that even if Yukinoshita-senpai can copy Gojo-sensei's technique, there's no way she could copy the Six Eyes too… right?"

But as he spoke, Fushiguro Megumi's voice grew quieter, and he suddenly wasn't so sure.

After all, when Yukinoshita Yukino had first used the Zenin family's Ten Shadows Technique in front of him, he had also said it was impossible.

Yet not only had she copied it, she used it as if it were her own innate technique—more skillfully than he did.

She even summoned that damn Mahoraga!

Ever since then, Fushiguro Megumi had stopped making assumptions about the abilities of Yukinoshita Yukino and Hayashizaki.

Anyone connected to Hayashizaki couldn't be judged by normal standards—thinking otherwise would only end in humiliation.

As more students gathered below to watch, Gojo Satoru chuckled.

"Oh wow, the crowd's growing. Losing now would be pretty embarrassing."

"That's your problem to worry about, Gojo-san."

The black-haired girl remained calm, her voice steady. Her long, silky black hair was tied up in a high ponytail, swaying in the wind as she hovered in midair.

"So scary~"

Gojo Satoru looked completely at ease. Even though the black-haired girl had her own technique and Six Eyes, he didn't feel the slightest pressure from her.

"You know, to properly use Cursed Technique Blue and Cursed Technique Red, you need to be able to control multiple techniques separately. That's the basic requirement."

Floating in midair, the white-haired man pointed his hand like a gun at Yukinoshita Yukino, his fingers aimed right at her.

A bright blue glow flickered at his fingertips. In an instant, Cursed Technique Blue was fired like a bullet, shooting straight at Yukinoshita Yukino.

And that was just the beginning.

Right after the blue light came a dazzling red glow. Cursed Technique Red followed close behind, racing toward the black-haired girl.

Blue and red flashes alternated, filling the sky. In the blink of an eye, three blue spheres representing Cursed Technique Blue and three red spheres representing Cursed Technique Red curved through the air, all closing in on Yukinoshita Yukino.

Facing six powerful attacks, Yukinoshita Yukino calmly clasped her hands together. In an instant, she vanished from her original position.

"Dodging isn't a bad choice. But if all you do is dodge, things might not go well for you."

When a forward rotation and a reverse rotation collide, they release an immense amount of imaginary energy, which then...

However, in Gojo Satoru's sight, the six spheres exploded mid-flight before they could even crash into each other.

Did she detonate them early using slashes? Gojo Satoru quickly understood.

The shockwave tore through the area, knocking down trees and sending debris flying. The students watching from below hurried to retreat to a safer distance. Nishimiya Momo, who had been watching from the sky on her broom like a VIP spectator, nearly got blown away and fell.

And in the middle of that storm, the black-haired girl appeared above him.

Gojo Satoru quickly looked up—only to see dazzling purple light and crackling lightning bursting to life.

"Hollow Purple."

Yukinoshita Yukino's lips parted slightly as she spoke.

The technique that Gojo Satoru had never managed to display fully—Hollow Purple—bloomed at her fingertips.
