"Hmm. Level 9 of late-stage dungeon explorer, just one more level to enter a new rank," Ethan murmured to himself as he assessed his powers, a small smile curling on his lips—glad his monster killing was helpful to him.
A bright light shone around him, and the wolf's corpse turned into white, spotless fur. Ethan picked it up, running his hands over it to feel the softness, imagining Eva using it as a coat or a rug—his speed in putting it into his ring quickened.
He couldn't wait to find Eva. Bringing out the shell, he still felt its coldness and frowned, wondering where the hell Eva was in the dungeon.
