"Stoneheart?" another giant rumbled, the name a half-forgotten echo. It seemed he had been slumbering for so long that his memories were slow to surface.
"It is one of the four great branches of the Giants," the last of the three supplied. "He must be a descendant of a Titan god."
"If he is an Abyssal Titan, why is he raising his banner in the first layer? Why not in the deep Abyss?" This was the question on all their minds. The presence of cosmic law in his voice meant the being on Starglow Peak was a demigod.
"Many clans of the Abyss have branches that migrated to other worlds," the lead giant said, his gaze still fixed on the distant mountain. "He is likely an Eminence who rose to power in the outside world."
"Eparus, are you thinking of following this Eminence?"
Eparus, the leader, remained silent. He could not make such a decision lightly, even if his own heart was already swayed.
