Chapter 434 - The Primordial God's Trap and the Star-Palace That Burns the Heavens

Rosen was just about to use the temporal foresight painting in his hand, push open the door depicted within it, and travel to that miraculous sea of stars.

But at that very moment, his bronze dragon avatar made a shocking discovery.

An eternal being had broken into the Primordial God's world. He couldn't see clearly who it was, only that it was definitely an eternal being. The moment they entered, they were dragged by the Primordial God's avatar into the deep sea of the spirit world, into some eternal realm—so the battlefield wasn't actually in the Primordial God's world.

The mysterious eternal being who attacked the Primordial God's world appeared abruptly and vanished without a trace.

It was safe to assume that this eternal being was already finished.

However, the Eye of the Creator could no longer detect the Primordial God's avatar either. Evidently, even if the avatar used some hidden trump card left behind by the Primordial God to slay the invader, it had definitely paid a steep price.

Only now did Rosen realize—the Will of the World and the others might have just been bait all along.

The Primordial God's avatar had known everything they were plotting through the Book of Fate and Creation, yet it had allowed them to act freely. The most likely reason was to use them as a decoy to feign weakness.

Through an orchestrated performance, it lured an eternal being—one who coveted the Primordial God's world but dared not approach—into taking the bait.

It was true that the true Primordial God would never awaken because of the grievances of all sentient beings. It was true that the avatar was weakened. It was true that the world was in chaos. But the one thing that wasn't true was that the Primordial God's avatar had no more cards left—it still had the means to kill an eternal being.

At this moment, Rosen was immensely grateful that he had secured the Time Source Seed and Space Source Seed on Blue Star ahead of time.

Otherwise, he wouldn't even have had the chance to run—he would've been singing prison songs alongside that unfortunate eternal being by now.

Rosen withdrew his gaze from the Primordial God's world and turned his attention back to the miraculous sea of stars in front of him.

This sea was composed of nothing more than ordinary water, but it stretched tens of thousands of light-years across, which was utterly terrifying.

Scattered individually, not even a Sequence 9 would drown in this water. But if the Miracle Source Seed fully fused into this ocean, and it truly transformed into a Miracle, it could very well give birth to a miracle artifact of eternal level. Once compressed, this water would be no less potent than any eternal sacred relic.

It was almost certain—only an eternal being could have created something on such a scale.

But strangely, there was no avatar left behind to guard it.

Rosen had been here for quite some time, and if anyone had been watching, he should've been noticed by now.

Rosen closely examined the formation outside the sea, constructed from clusters of supergalactic structures, and immediately felt elated—he discovered that the formation hadn't been maintained or repaired in hundreds of millions of years, and it had developed many flaws.

Clearly, the eternal being who created this miraculous sea hadn't returned for hundreds of millions of years.

The only possibility was that they were dead. Otherwise, they wouldn't have invested so much only to completely neglect it afterward.

Since it was an unclaimed Miracle Source Seed, Rosen saw no reason to be polite.

But simply extracting the Miracle Source Seed would destroy this star-sea, which had likely been nourished for over a billion years.

If it couldn't be transformed into a Miracle, then it was nothing more than ordinary water.

No matter how vast the quantity, in the grand scheme of the universe, its value was limited.

The most efficient use would be to help this Miracle Star-Sea become a true eternal Miracle.

Then, by harnessing its power, Rosen could directly elevate his Miracle Sequence to the eternal level.

For anyone else, that would be nearly impossible—otherwise this Miracle Star-Sea wouldn't have remained dormant for a billion years.

But for Rosen, it wasn't entirely impossible to help it become a Miracle.

The method was actually quite simple: temporarily fuse the Miracle Source Seed already integrated into the Immortal Emperor's Miracle Tarot Card with the one in the sea. The fusion of the two Seeds would significantly increase the chance of a Miracle being born.

Then, using the Dispersal Source Seed, the Origin Source Seed, and the Time Source Seed among others, he could begin condensing and refining the Miracle Star-Sea.

If the eternal being who created this star-sea wasn't dead, they would have done this already. After all, no matter how abundant, ordinary water was still just water. Only by compressing and refining it could the quality be elevated, ultimately creating a stronger Miracle artifact.

Under the power of the Dispersal Source Seed, the sea of stars spanning tens of thousands of light-years began to shrink.

The Origin Source Seed purified and elevated the ordinary water found throughout the universe.

With the help of the Star Source Seed and Space Source Seed, Rosen drew in endless starlight and matter from nearby supergalactic clusters and channeled them into the sea as nourishment for countless Origin Brood Mothers.

The Compatibility Source Seed allowed the starlight from numerous different stars to merge harmoniously.

Finally, the Time Source Seed accelerated the process, while the Burning Heaven Source Seed incinerated the water, giving it new forms. The Frost Sky Source Seed froze water and vapor into new states, further enriching the Miracle Sea. All the while, the Eternal Miracle Essence was continuously poured in.

Due to a lack of reserves, Rosen was forced to decompose Miracle artifacts using Eternal Sacred Radiance.

Artifacts like the Dreamcloud Grotto-Heaven, the Petrifying Eye, and the Transformation Emblem were all broken down without hesitation and merged into the Miracle Star-Sea. Yet even so, it was barely a drop in the bucket. He had severely underestimated the difficulty of turning the Miracle Star-Sea into an eternal sacred Miracle.

Rosen spent five full years in the real world—five thousand years under accelerated time.

His stores of Eternal Essence were nearly depleted, and all he managed to produce was a semi-finished Miracle Star-Sea.

Even if he snuck back into the Primordial God's world to loot more Miracle artifacts, it would still be too little, too late.

The only way to completely transform the Miracle Star Sea into a miracle artifact was to obtain more Miracle Source Seeds.Rosen opened the Creator's Sketchbook and began searching for the whereabouts of a third Miracle Source Seed.

This one clearly already had an owner, as someone appeared within the Time-Prophecy Painting.

Fortunately, it was merely an Immortal Godfiend, and judging from appearances, it didn't seem to be a reincarnated Eternal Lifeform like an Immortal Star God.

Rosen painted a door not far from the figure in the painting. When his Eternal Will touched and pushed it open, his body blurred and slipped inside.

The moment he passed through the painted door, he had already arrived several hundred meters away from his chosen target.

Relying on the Wheel of Time and Space to control the Time Source Seed, Rosen could accelerate his own speed by a factor of a thousand and slow down his opponent's speed by the same factor. Of course, applying such time manipulation in battle came at an enormous cost—especially when trying to forcibly control the time of an Immortal Godfiend.

However, even accelerating only his own time by a thousandfold would still produce terrifying effects.

Rosen's Creator Domain extended across the hundreds of meters and enveloped the still-slumbering Immortal Godfiend. The suddenly awakened Godfiend had not yet fully regained consciousness. His Creator Domain, fused with the Space Source Seed, had rules and strength so formidable that even an Immortal Godfiend found it difficult to break through.

A startled flap of wings from the Black-Winged Kangaroo sent it flying into the Creator Domain's barrier and bouncing back.

Its eyes nearly bulged out from its sockets, filled with an unprecedented fear—something it had never experienced despite roaming the vast universe.

This creature was a cosmic beast born with the power of a Great True God. Its pair of black wings naturally governed darkness and space, and the pocket dimension within its abdomen, fused with an Immortal World, allowed it to devour and suppress anything. Even reincarnated Eternal Lifeforms had failed to catch it.

The Black-Winged Kangaroo never imagined that someone could actually stop it from escaping.

Could it be that the Immortal Godfiends whose treasures it had stolen had banded together and prepared countermeasures to eliminate it?

Frightened and without hesitation, the Black-Winged Kangaroo decided to fight with everything it had.

Its Immortal World collapsed inside its abdomen, and the destructive spatial power born from that collapse was compressed and expelled from its mouth, attempting to pierce through the Creator Domain's frighteningly solid space.

But then—Time and Space reversed. The Black-Winged Kangaroo's bodily state was forcibly rewound.

Its memory, however, was unaffected by the time reversal, making it all the more aware of how terrifying its enemy's manipulation of time truly was.

As long as this enemy kept reversing time, it wouldn't just be unable to flee—it wouldn't even be able to die.

"If you're willing to submit, I can spare your life."

Rosen's Eternal Will pressed down upon the Black-Winged Kangaroo within the Creator Domain.

At the same time, the Heaven-Scorching Sacred Serpent and the Frost-Heaven Sacred Serpent slithered menacingly around the domain, eyes locked onto the kangaroo like predators ready to strike.

The Black-Winged Kangaroo stubbornly racked its brain for ways to escape, but eventually gave up in defeat.

Rosen wasted no time. He used the Creator's Shackles—fused with the Enslavement Source Seed—to invade the creature's divine origin. These shackles had been developed using the Old God's Shackles as a core, fused with sealing skills from various Sequences, forming a skill specially tailored to the Enslavement Source Seed.

While not as innate as a true Creator Sequence ability, they were hardly inferior.

Normally, enslaving an Immortal Godfiend would be nearly impossible.

All Immortal Lifeforms possessed Eternal Wills—virtually unshakable. Making a being with an Eternal Will become a servant was unthinkable; most would rather die than suffer such humiliation. More likely, they'd fight to the death and try to pass on their Source Seeds instead.

But there were always exceptions—and the Black-Winged Kangaroo was one such rare exception.

It was infamous across the universe.

Even the Immortal Sky Wolf—despite not knowing many other Godfiends—had vivid memories of the Black-Winged Kangaroo when Rosen had probed its memories. The kangaroo was notorious for its thievery, a despised figure hunted by all.

It was known for its greed and cowardice, with ninety percent of its power focused entirely on escaping.

What's more, it had once been captured and enslaved for many years.

Only when the Immortal Godfiend who enslaved it perished did it seize the opportunity to regain freedom.

Rosen had only meant to test it—but to his surprise, the kangaroo truly surrendered.

He was currently strapped for resources and dead broke. The fastest way to get rich was through theft.

But if he stole too much, his reputation would collapse, and everyone would come after him.

Taking out a single Sky Wolf Clan or seizing an Icefrost Forbidden Zone wasn't a big deal—after all, unclaimed forbidden zones operated on the law of strength. In this universe ruled by the strong, no one would declare a life-or-death vendetta over that.

Still, despite the abundant resources within forbidden zones, exploring them came with enormous risks.

If not for the Ouroboros Twin-Ring Bracelet, he wouldn't have been able to seize the Icefrost Forbidden Zone.

The Soulbind Forbidden Zone was the same—if the Eternal Soulbinding Wolf hadn't had its own agenda, Rosen couldn't have taken that zone either.

And without complete control over a forbidden zone, harvesting resources would be both dangerous and slow.

To get rich fast, his only option was to hunt Immortal Godfiends and steal their accumulated resources.

Doing it once or twice was fine—but repeat it too often, and the rest of the Immortal Godfiends would undoubtedly unite against him.

That's why Rosen planned to use the Black-Winged Kangaroo—to provide Eternal Space Essence, and to use the Time-Prophecy Painting to help it lock onto and approach targets quickly. Then he could fully exploit the kangaroo's talents to steal resources.

Let the kangaroo take all the blame—he would enjoy all the benefits.

Rosen was thrilled by his success in enslaving the kangaroo—but at the same time, he felt a trace of unease in his heart.

After escaping the Ancient God World, his luck seemed to have suddenly skyrocketed.First came the Miracle Starsea, then the Black-Winged Kangaroo—it was as if whatever he wanted, he got.

There were two possible reasons for this sudden surge in fortune. The first might be related to the Time Source Seed and Space Source Seed. These two Seeds were among the most compatible with the universe; mastering them was akin to swimming effortlessly through cosmic tides.

The second possibility involved the Miracle Source Seed. His Miracle Source Seed was bound to the unique and terrifying Miracle Sequence.

Other Miracle Source Seeds definitely had their own unique powers as well.

After all, barring unexpected circumstances, Miracle Source Seeds were also among the ten innate Source Seeds that surpassed even the universe's first echelon.

The Black-Winged Kangaroo resembled a bat. Its abdomen had no organs or bones—just a layer of skin, a bit of fat, and a devouring space fused with an Immortal World. The Miracle Source Seed had formed a special Miracle World together with this devouring space.

Indeed, each Miracle Source Seed possessed a unique ability, much like the Miracle Sequence.

The Black-Winged Kangaroo's Miracle Source Seed allowed it to fuse various treasures with its internal world, thereby gaining power from them. If Rosen hadn't mastered the Time and Space Source Seeds, capturing the creature would have been impossible.

Because all the treasures the kangaroo had stolen had been traded for space-related artifacts.

With a vast arsenal of spatial treasures, the Black-Winged Kangaroo's control over space ranked easily within the top hundred across the universe.

And this was based on a ranking it had compiled itself—which certainly wasn't low, as it even included Eternal Lives.

After Rosen stripped the Miracle Source Seed away, the Black-Winged Kangaroo became utterly despondent, nearly losing the will to live.

But once Rosen provided it with Eternal Space Origin, it immediately revived and became eager to act.

After releasing the Black-Winged Kangaroo, Rosen began refining the Miracle Source Seed. The Eternal Will that had been merged within by the kangaroo not only failed to resist, but actually cooperated proactively. After the refinement was complete, the kangaroo even self-destructed that portion of its Eternal Will.

With the second Miracle Source Seed fully under control, Rosen fused it into the Miracle Starsea.

At the same time, he decomposed all the spatial treasures the Black-Winged Kangaroo no longer needed into Eternal Space Origin and integrated them into the Miracle Starsea.

Rosen could clearly sense that with just one more Miracle Source Seed, the Miracle Starsea would be transformed into a Miracle Treasure.

Soon, the fourth Time-Foresight Painting was complete. Looking at it, Rosen frowned slightly.

The subject was also a living being, but not a sentient being at the level of Immortal Godfiends. It was a primal behemoth that resided within the Origin Dark Sea. Even through the painting, he could feel the creature's terrifying presence—no less threatening than an Immortal Star God.

Immortal Star Gods, being intelligent lifeforms, would rarely reveal their full power.

Primal behemoths, lacking intellect, typically had neither the ability nor need to conceal their strength.

Even with mastery of time-cycles, Rosen estimated his chances of successfully hunting this behemoth at less than thirty percent.

Knowing both yourself and your enemy ensures victory. He decided to investigate the behemoth's background.

The number of primal behemoths in the universe was countless, but the real threat came not from their individual strength but from their sheer numbers. Though legends spoke of Eternal-level behemoths deep within the Sea of Origin, the strongest confirmed beings in the observable universe were still Immortal Godfiends.

And due to their lack of intelligence, primal behemoths almost always lost when facing Immortal Godfiends of the same tier.

But this one was different—more terrifying than most Immortal Godfiends, rivaling even reincarnated Eternal Lives. Such beasts were extremely rare across the universe, meaning they were more likely to have been recorded or reported. There was bound to be information circulating.

Rosen opened a Cross-Realm Gate to the Blazing Heaven Super Galaxy Cluster and went straight to the Blazing Heaven Galaxy.

It was the galaxy closest to the Blazing Heaven Creation Furnace. Last time he had passed by without entering, since at that point he wasn't yet a true Immortal Godfiend. Now that he was, it was the perfect time to mingle with others of his kind.

The Blazing Heaven Galaxy wasn't large and was completely shrouded in Solar Divine Fire.

Within the flames, one could faintly glimpse a palace. The structure was built with bricks made from compressed extraordinary stars. The materials came from all the Immortal Godfiends—anyone wanting a foothold here had to contribute bricks of their own.

Rosen entered the Mysterious Study Room and used his Time-Foresight Painting to locate unowned extraordinary stars.

Then, the Space-Time Source Seed transformed into a space-time fishing rod, casting into the painting to fish for extraordinary stars.

One by one, extraordinary stars were reeled in, compressed into bricks, and stacked. He amassed thirty thousand bricks.

These were all Sequence 0 extraordinary stars—difficult even for Immortal Godfiends to collect.

With these bricks, Rosen stepped into the Blazing Heaven Star Palace. As soon as the thirty thousand bricks landed on the palace grounds, the Eternal Artifact-level palace absorbed them. Instantly, an additional one-hundred-square-meter room appeared inside.

Every brick used to build the room contained Rosen's Eternal Will.

By merging his Eternal Will into the bricks and fusing them with the Blazing Heaven Star Palace, Rosen gained control over 1/1621 of the palace.

This meant that 1,621 Immortal Godfiends had contributed to building the palace.

The Blazing Heaven Star Palace constantly absorbed Solar Divine Fire and gradually formed secondary flame seeds of it. It was also the headquarters of one of the three major Immortal Godfiend factions in the universe. Every ten thousand years, members held a minor gathering; every million years, a major one.

At minor gatherings, they sent avatars; for major ones, they attended in person.

Normally, the members were scattered across the universe, but they would leave behind weak avatars here for communication and trade.

The palace's main hall was constructed from rooms pieced together as bricks.

Each room's door faced inward toward the main hall, allowing free passage in and out.

The hall's internal space had been expanded. Since Immortal Godfiends possessed the innate ability to alter their size at will, the interior was vast. There was no Solar Divine Fire inside—only extraordinary stars, compressed to the size of fists and glowing faintly, floating in midair.

Within each extraordinary star was stored some kind of extraordinary resource that the Immortal Godfiends no longer needed.

If someone liked something, they could trade for it using extraordinary stars as currency.

If the item was too valuable for such a trade, they could contact the corresponding Immortal Godfiend to barter directly.

And if even that didn't work, they could only wait for the next ten-thousand-year gathering.
