"You are a disgrace! It wasn't enough to ruin the family's reputation with your beta identity, now you want to ruin your brother!"
"Get on your knees and apologize to the Lancaster family for bribing the doctor and forging the documents, or I will cut all ties with you!"
Gregory threatened.
He had been stepping on his son since his beta identity was affirmed. He knew his son craved the love of his family and would admit to anything if he threatened to cut ties with him.
"And don't think you'll escape a good beating, as long as Oliver is sick, you'll be in the hospital with broken bones, I'll make sure of that" Amelia said with a look of pure hatred, while Felix watched the scene in silence, contempt for Leo shining in his eyes.
What they didn't know was that after what Oliver had done, Leo had lost all hope for his brother.
Oliver knew that Leo liked Alex and made sure to tell his family, who in turn mocked and despised him.
They forced him to make Oliver get invitations to the parties Alex would attend or get an invitation, including the last banquet where Alex had been drugged.
When Leo found out that the Lancaster family was trying to arrange an engagement for Alex, he was heartbroken and decided to distance himself from him, knowing that Alex could not refuse his father's decision and would be forced to marry.
Alex, in turn, began to appear in various public places with several omega companions and began to drink heavily, causing him to lose his defined abs and develop a beer belly within a month.
Leo thought he had given up on him and kept their relationship strictly professional, crying silently when he was alone in places.
When Alex realized he was going into a rut, he booked a hotel room in the presidential suite and, while Alex went to take a shower after taking his medication, as a precaution, Leo left his coat with the medication on the bathroom sink and went to the pharmacy to buy a more powerful inhibitor in case the rut was caused by drugs and not natural.
After all, this wasn't the first time they had tried to drug Alex.
When he returned from the pharmacy, he found the doctor standing outside the door, warning Leo that they couldn't enter the room for 1 week unless Alex opened the door or asked for a camera service, because he was with an omega.
It was a shock for Leo to discover that Alex was with an omega, but according to the hotel rules, unless the emergency button on the phone was activated, no one could enter the room. However, Leo, as secretary, had a spare key that, when he looked for it, he realized was missing.
When he realized this, despair shone in his eyes.
So, Leo booked another room and went to wait for news of Alex.
What no one knew, however, was that that night Leo had a high fever.
He felt excruciating pain, as if his body had been cut into pieces and then thrown into a bonfire.
In the midst of the pain, Leo had a long dream, or rather, a vision of the past.
Leo dreamed of his brother and his family planning to make Alex take responsibility for a child that was not his.
Every word and action of his brother, from his perspective, was seen by Leo.
Until the excruciating pain in his body woke him up.
When he woke up, Leo tried to get up, knocking over the vase next to the bed, which, when it shattered on the floor, withered the flowers until they turned to dust.
Leo, upon seeing this, was shocked, feeling his strength recover a little before falling back onto the bed, unconscious.
What Leo didn't know was that, because of the butterfly effect, his powers, which should have awakened after the apocalypse, were awakening earlier than expected, but, as they were out of control, he, who had the power to absorb the life forces and powers of others, as well as help others awaken, ended up sucking the energy from his surroundings. Unbeknownst to him before, in the next room was his brother Oliver, who had part of his energy sucked. What was sucked, however, along with some of the vitality, were part of Oliver's most recent memories.
The use of his power that was not yet fully awakened made Leo feel an enormous pain that made him wake up and thus stop using the power before it ran out. By knocking over the vase, however, Leo ended up absorbing the vitality of the flowers, which was minimal, but helped to improve the fever, but which made him pass out from exhaustion due to having exhausted his power.
The only reason Alex wasn't affected is because he was locked in the bathroom trying to control his rut.

Oliver had no intention of listening to his family.
After his high fever passed, he began to investigate his brother, because that dream was too real to ignore, even though Oliver couldn't believe it and longed for the love of his family.
The result? Complete disappointment.
After what he discovered, Oliver lost all hope of ever being accepted by his family and having a loving family.
He completely darkened.
In front of Alex, however, he would maintain his pure white appearance, until he had him in his hands and devoured him completely.
"Mr. Lancaster, before he passed out, warned me that if you insisted on making unreasonable requests, I could call the police and let them solve the case."
After hearing this, the Lancaster and Ashford families were furious, they could not allow the company's reputation to go down the drain.
"How dare you?" Felix said, trying to slap Leo.
Suddenly, a scent of pheromones spread throughout the room and Felix almost knelt on the floor.
The omegas present began to feel suffocated and had to be held down so they wouldn't faint.
"Enough! No one is going to call the police! Doctor, tell the truth about what happened, why is my brother in this condition and is that omega really pregnant?"
Sebastian said in a threatening tone.
"Sebastian, enough!" "Doctor, tell the truth"
Gregory said as Sebastian removed his pheromones and the others were able to breathe again.
