After receiving Shinho Aburame's promise, Konan turned and left with a relieved heart to find Kaguya Otsutsuki.
Although Hanzo was the direct murderer of Yahiko, Danzo Shimura and his Root played a significant role.
After finishing the documents on the Hokage's desk, Shinho pondered briefly and used the Fixed Immortal Travel. In the next second, his body materialized outside the Fire City, at the training grounds of the First Ninja Squad. He looked up and saw Hinata Hyuga not far away, along with the members of Team 7 in the midst of their training: Hanabi Hyuga, Fu, and Amaru.
"Brother-in-law!" Hanabi noticed him and quickly waved.
Hinata instinctively turned around, a smile blooming on her face as she saw him. "Brother-in-law."
Hanabi ran up to him, her face full of anticipation. "Are you taking us on a mission?"
"Unfortunately, no," Shinho said, patting her head.
"Then are you here to train us?" Hanabi asked, puzzled.
"Not that either," Shinho said with a smile. "I didn't like the gift you gave me, so I came to give you trouble."
"Huh?" Hanabi was stunned.
"Hahaha," Shinho flicked her forehead. "Just kidding."
"Eh? Brother-in-law, you're so mean!" Hanabi put her hands on her hips, feigning displeasure, but her tone was mostly playful.
Shinho's gaze instinctively swept over her. Though not as developed as Hinata, she was definitely starting to mature. After all, they were sisters; she wouldn't be too far behind.
"Is that any way to talk to your teacher?" Shinho asked, putting on a stern face.
Hanabi immediately pouted.
"That's not cute," Shinho said, his finger tracing her soft lips.
Hanabi clearly hadn't expected such an intimate gesture. Her heart trembled, and she quickly turned away, a blush creeping up her cheeks.
"You all go back to training," Shinho said with a chuckle, seeing her reaction. "Hinata and I have something to discuss."
"Yes, Sensei," Fu and Amaru said in unison. Hanabi secretly breathed a sigh of relief. To avoid her sister noticing anything, she quickly followed suit.
Shinho turned his gaze to Hinata.
As usual, she was dressed in a long-sleeved shirt and pants. The only hint of allure was the black mesh lining faintly visible at her neckline, mostly obscured by her Konoha forehead protector. However, having personally explored her body, Shinho knew exactly where her charms lay.
"Shinho-kun," Hinata tilted her head. She was a little curious as to why he was staring at her without speaking.
"Are you interested in going on a mission with me?" Shinho asked, gently caressing her cheek.
"Yes!" Hinata replied without hesitation.
"Aren't you even going to ask what it is?" Shinho savored the softness and smoothness of her skin.
"Anything is fine," Hinata said earnestly. In her eyes, even a D-rank weeding or cleaning mission would be a joy if she could be with Shinho.
"Good girl," Shinho smiled. "Come to my office tomorrow at nine in the morning."
"Yes!" Hinata's voice was filled with excitement. It had been a long time since she had gone on a mission with Shinho.
"Should I bring Hanabi and the others?" Hinata suddenly asked, remembering her team.
"Just you," Shinho said, glancing at Team 7 training. He pulled Hinata behind a tree.
Hanabi, turning her head, noticed their movement and couldn't help but feel a pang of envy.
"Just me?" Hinata was stunned, a little surprised.
Bringing Team 7 along could make it a training mission, but she couldn't think of any mission that just the two of them would undertake.
"You can bring Hanabi and the others if you want," Shinho lowered his head, bringing his face close to hers.
Their faces were less than five centimeters apart. Hinata could feel his breath and their lips almost touching. A faint blush colored her cheeks.
"N-no... I won't," Hinata instinctively shook her head, then noticing his gaze, added, "I... I'll listen to you."
Shinho smiled and kissed her.
A soft sensation spread through her.
"Mm..." Hinata subconsciously clutched his clothes.
Lost in the kiss, she felt nothing but happiness. Her white eyes reflected his face, but soon her focus dissolved, and her mind went blank.
"You're really greedy," Shinho licked his lips, feeling parched. Hinata looked at him with dazed eyes. She was simply acting on instinct, wanting more of his affection.
"I'll deal with you tomorrow." Her innocent seductiveness made Shinho's heart race. Unfortunately, this wasn't the right place.
Hinata came back to her senses, her face flushing crimson.
She clasped her hands together, her fingers fidgeting. She was shy but also filled with anticipation, wondering what kind of "training" he had in mind.
Looking at her docile appearance, Shinho couldn't help but think that she was truly a one-of-a-kind wife material.
He couldn't resist kissing her forehead again. "See you tomorrow."
"Mm," Hinata hummed.
"I won't interrupt their training any longer. Tell them I said hello," Shinho patted her head and used Fixed Immortal Travel Gu, returning to the Hokage's office.
Since he had finished the paperwork, he closed his eyes and began to cultivate. He remained in this state until a knock on the door interrupted him.
"Come in," Shinho said casually.
The familiar sound of high heels clicked against the floor.
A pair of long, black-silk-clad legs entered his field of vision. Shinho's gaze traveled upwards, taking in the curves of her body until he reached her exquisite and cold face.
"Lord Hokage," Samui slowly bent down, her hands resting on her thighs, her suit jacket straining at the buttons.
"Have they left?" Shinho glanced out the window.
The sun had already set, leaving only a faint yellow glow on the horizon.
"Yes," Samui nodded.
"Then you should get off work," Shinho said casually.
"Yes," Samui hesitated for a few seconds.
She had come here with a certain expectation, but it seemed she wouldn't be receiving his favor tonight.
However, she didn't linger.
"Oh, right, you and Mabui should move to the back palace," Shinho suddenly remembered.
"Yes!" Samui's heart leaped with joy, her voice filled with excitement.
Moving to the back palace meant that they had finally gained Shinho's complete approval.
In terms of status, they had become his concubines, even though they weren't married yet.
"There are many rooms in the back palace. You can choose any except for mine and my teacher's," Shinho said, caressing her cheek.
"Yes!" Samui's heart stirred at his words.
Aside from Tsunade, were they the second? This was truly unexpected.
But after thinking it over, she understood. Hinata and Ino came from prominent clans; they couldn't simply move in.
It would have to be through a proper marriage.
However, Samui wasn't demanding; after all, she and Mabui were originally prisoners.
"See you tomorrow." Shinho waved at her and vanished.
After another night of hard work for the sake their future children, a new dawn arrived. After breakfast and saying goodbye to Tsunade, Shinho arrived at the Hokage's office, finished his paperwork, and waited.
At nine o'clock sharp, a knock echoed through the room.
"Come in." Shinho looked up at the door.
Hinata, dressed in her usual long-sleeved attire and pants, entered. She rarely wore anything else.
Shinho pondered.
He felt Hinata's personality would be well-suited for a maid outfit. Coupled with her incredible figure... the thought was exciting. He'd have to try it sometime.
"Let's go," Shinho said, standing up.
Hinata nodded. Although she didn't know what the mission was, she would follow him anywhere.
Konoha Maximum Security Prison, formerly used to hold high-level criminals in Konoha Village, had now been relocated to the Fire City.
Being a prison, it wasn't located within the city but on its outskirts.
Kaguya was already waiting at the prison gates.
Hinata froze when she saw her. It was her first time meeting Kaguya.
Kaguya's familiar Byakugan and chakra signature filled her with confusion.
Who was this? She clearly wasn't a Hyuga clan member. But why did she possess the Byakugan? Moreover, this Byakugan felt even stronger than her own Tenseigan.
Kaguya also noticed Hinata immediately.
She gave her a brief once-over before dismissing her. Although Hinata having awakened the Tenseigan was a surprise, it didn't matter much to her.
Besides, she was currently a prisoner and in no mood to acknowledge blood relatives.
"Lord Hokage," Kaguya greeted him proactively.
"Mm," Shinho didn't bother with introductions. "Let's go inside."
Kaguya nodded.
With Kaguya's power, even illusions could function as a realistic world. Those inside wouldn't realize they were in a genjutsu or that they didn't truly exist.
Shinho and the others entered the prison. He quickly spotted the imprisoned Danzo.
Sealed and powerless, Danzo resembled an ordinary person, oblivious to their presence.
"Begin," Shinho said casually.
"Don't resist," Kaguya glanced at him and looked up.
Her Rinne Sharingan pulsed slightly. An invisible wave enveloped Shinho and Hinata.
Due to her lower power level, Hinata didn't realize she was already under a genjutsu.
Shinho clearly sensed the ocular power but didn't resist. Even the real Infinite Tsukuyomi wouldn't hold him, let alone this limited version. The reason was simple: he possessed Immortal Apertures and numerous Gu worms.
Shinho looked around.
They had entered the Infinite Tsukuyomi's time-space, but the surroundings remained unchanged.
From the outside, he, Hinata, and Danzo were frozen in place.
Night fell. Danzo stared at the moon through the window. He now only had one eye left.
His other eye, containing Shisui Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan, had been taken. He had no idea what was happening outside.
No one had visited him since his capture.
His only source of information was the prison guards.
He knew the Hokage position had been transferred from Tsunade to Shinho. Anything beyond that remained a mystery.
For example, he didn't understand why he had been moved from Konoha Village to the land of Fire's Capital.
"How pathetic," a familiar voice suddenly echoed.
"Is that...?" Danzo's eyes widened. He quickly got up and looked towards the door. "Orochimaru?!"
"Surprised to see me?" Orochimaru asked eerily.
"Why are you only here now?!" Danzo demanded angrily.
"You fool," Orochimaru licked his lips, his voice cold. "It was a tremendous risk for me to come here at all."
"What do you mean?" Danzo asked, bewildered.
"The current Konoha is not the Konoha you remember," Orochimaru casually opened the cell door. "Follow me."
Danzo's heart trembled, tears almost welling up.
After so many years, he was finally free from this damned cage. He followed Orochimaru out of the prison. Unconscious guards lined their path.
"What's going on?!" Standing at the prison gate, Danzo stared in disbelief at the chaotic Metropolis. Countless chakra signatures surged in all directions, leaving a trail of destruction. The warring ninjas confused him even more.
Ninjas from every village were present; it was as if this was an unprecedented, all-out war.
"It's the Fourth Great Ninja War," Orochimaru briefly explained.
Shinho's Limited Tsukuyomi didn't replicate the events of the movie but followed the original storyline of the manga.
The only difference was Danzo's unexpected presence.
The current narrative had reached the Fourth Great Ninja War. On one side was Obito Uchiha, disguised as Madara Uchiha, collaborating with Kabuto and his army of White Zetsus. On the other side was the Allied Shinobi Forces, led by the Five Great Nations.
"No wonder," Danzo finally understood why Orochimaru had only rescued him now.
There simply hadn't been an opportunity before.
"Is the Akatsuki winning?" Danzo asked, frowning.
The Land of Fire's Metropolis had already fallen; it was frightening to imagine the state of other locations.
He had finally gained his freedom and didn't want to die in a chaotic world.
"Currently, the Akatsuki has the advantage," Orochimaru nodded.
"..." Danzo fell silent. If the Five Great Nations ceased to exist, his dream of becoming Hokage would vanish along with them.
"But I have a way to ensure victory," Orochimaru suddenly said with a sinister tone. "I left a backdoor in Kabuto Yakushi's Edo Tensei. I can seize control of the reanimated shinobi."
"Really?" Danzo's face brightened.
"Of course," Orochimaru said casually. "I rescued you because I want to cooperate with you."
