In the study, Josh first had some casual conversations with his many business partners.
In the Game of Thrones world, Daenerys has now used her strong army to completely conquer the whole planet and has built a true empire where the sun never sets.
Although they haven't started going into space yet, the world has basically finished industrializing, and their technology is about the same as early 19th-century Europe.
Of course, this process wasn't always smooth. During this time, Daenerys also met beings called "gods."
But in the end, the Game of Thrones world is a low-magic world. These so-called gods, even though they have some strange powers, are nothing compared to the Marvel universe—not even close to the Asgardians, let alone the Celestials.
So when this happened, Daenerys and Josh talked it over and simply started a new religion. Daenerys took both royal and religious power for herself and judged the so-called false gods.
From then on, people in the Game of Thrones world learned what true divine judgment was.
Anywhere the great Mother of Dragons judged, nothing was left alive, and all the false gods were destroyed.
Even if someone tried to go into those places later, they would be cursed.
This scary "divine judgment" had a simple name for Josh: nuclear bomb.
After this, except for Daenerys, all other religions in the Game of Thrones world basically disappeared.
Daenerys became one of only two true gods in that world.
Why two? Because for fun, Daenerys also set up a statue for Josh as her official partner.
As Daenerys, influenced by Josh's modern ideas, put it: "If I can't have you, can't I at least imagine it?"
With Daenerys's high status, no man in the Game of Thrones world could catch her eye anymore. If she really needed anything, even a robot would be better than them, so she could only imagine being with Josh.
Josh just found this funny and let her do as she pleased.
Compared to Daenerys's happy life, things in Yuri's world were not going well.
Even though Yuri tried everything to stop it, Tiberium still started spreading.
Luckily, over the past few years, Yuri had already united the whole Earth and started planning for space colonization. They had already found several Earth-like planets in the galaxy where humans could live.
When Josh talked to Yuri, Yuri was leading an exploration fleet to check out a newly discovered planet.
But unlike the Marvel universe, Yuri's universe is more normal and doesn't have many space wormholes, so space travel can only rely on the Star Wars hyperdrive engines that Josh provided. This means their exploration is still limited to the galaxy, and except for some primitive creatures, they haven't found any other civilizations.
As for Abbendis in Azeroth… he's been getting bolder over the years, and his privateer fleet has traveled almost everywhere in Azeroth.
Maybe it's because Abbendis is so independent and has shown so many unusual talents over the years that his parents don't really watch over him anymore.
Also, his actions don't hurt the interests of the Kingdom of Lordaeron. In fact, his overseas trade brings in a lot of taxes and rare treasures that Lordaeron has never seen before, so the young King Terenas just lets him do as he likes.
There are even rumors that King Terenas is thinking about marrying Abbendis to his three-year-old daughter, Calia Menethil.
Actually, Abbendis is quite mature for his age, but he's only thirteen. A ten-year age gap is common even in modern times, and it's nothing special in a medieval fantasy world like Azeroth.
After all, Turalyon is over a thousand years younger than Alleria.
Of course, Abbendis says the marriage talk is just gossip.
But from the smug look on his face, Josh can tell it might be true—maybe King Terenas just hasn't made up his mind yet.
Besides King Terenas, Abbendis has also made friends with many powerful nobles by trading treasures and special goods from all over Azeroth.
He also has two older "brothers" who support him—Mograine and Fordring, both important nobles.
Because of this, his overseas plans have gone very smoothly.
Now, Abbendis has built a town in the Borean Tundra of Northrend to trade with some of the native races there. When Josh contacted him, he was in Durotar, scouting out the area to build a new city and try to connect with the night elves and tauren.
This kid is really trying to block the orcs' path and make things hard for them…
Not bad.
While talking with Abbendis, Josh also learned something very important.
Far to the south in the Eastern Kingdoms, in Stormwind, King Llane Wrynn has just had a son named Varian Wrynn.
King Varian has been born.
This means there are only ten years left until the Dark Portal opens.
After finishing his talk with Abbendis, Josh turned his attention to the World of Equilibrium.
Most of the people there have already been moved to the Game of Thrones or Yuri's world by Errol Partridge, but Errol himself, as the dimensional beacon, can't leave, and some people just don't want to leave their world.
But as Josh's technology advanced, life in this world started to get better. Through Errol Partridge, Josh sent many robots there, built factories, and mined resources.
Now, this world has become one of Josh's main arms factories.
Half of the ships in the Ranger Fleet and the Iron Vrykul Second Fleet were built in this world and then traded to Josh by Partridge.
The remaining humans, led by Partridge, have completely become Josh's workers—well-paid workers who only need to check on production and don't really have to do much else. Their lives are very comfortable.
In the Mummy world, the Dragon Emperor is in seclusion, so Empress Lin is running the country. Other than regular trade with Josh, things are stable and nothing special is happening.
Now, the I, Robot world.
After Lawrence Robertson got in touch with Josh, his company, which used to only make robots, started to grow in many new directions, especially investing a lot in space exploration.
After years of hard work, Lawrence worked with governments around the world and found a planet in the Centauri system where humans could live. They started space colonization.
But Lawrence wasn't satisfied with just that. He secretly planned to use the colony as a base to build his own new empire.
To do this, he was willing to become one of Josh's workers, just like Partridge, in exchange for technical help. While he kept improving his robots, he was also quietly building a super-soldier army, waiting for the right time.
In the Transformers world, Starscream's Cybertron Empire was growing steadily. The only problem was that he still hadn't wiped out the Autobots' resistance.
Yes, that means Optimus Prime. As the chosen one of the Transformers world, he was really hard to catch. Even Bumblebee was caught early on Earth, but Optimus Prime still hadn't been found. Because the story had changed, Optimus never even went to Earth, so no one knew where he was hiding.
Next were a few worlds from the past five years that, except for Pacific Rim, didn't really matter.
Josh only discussed plans to fight back against the Precursors with the still cold and distant Mako, and didn't bother much with the other traders from those worlds.
After talking with Mako, there were only a few minutes left until the new dimension beacon appeared.
Soon, the beacon was created and quickly found a host.
A soaking wet blonde woman, wearing only thin underwear, appeared on the screen. From her surroundings, it looked like a high-tech metal room.
Josh instantly recognized her face.
Charlize Theron…
His expression became serious. This actress, this scene… there could only be one.
"What are you? Some kind of dimensional trader? I must have been asleep too long and started hallucinating!" 'Charlize Theron' said, holding her head.
"Trust me, what you're seeing is real. Meredith Vickers, Peter Weyland's illegitimate daughter, right?" Josh asked.
"That's right. How do you know me? According to this thing, we're from different universes!" Vickers frowned, not liking anything out of her control—especially this dimensional trading system and Josh.
Yes, this blonde woman was Vickers, the second main character in the movie Prometheus.
She was on the spaceship Prometheus, just waking up from her sleep pod.
"Heh, that's not important. What matters is what I can offer you," Josh said with a smile.
"Ma'am, who are you talking to?" Another voice sounded on Vickers' side.
A man appeared at her cabin door—it was David, the main male character and, in a way, the villain, the android from the movie.
The ship had reached its destination, and he was there to wake Vickers, but she had already woken up.
He saw her talking to herself in front of her closet, since the trading system was invisible to others.
"Do you think anyone else could be in my cabin?" Vickers sneered, showing her usual dislike for David.
"Sorry, ma'am… I was just checking on you!" David quickly apologized, thinking Vickers was just talking to herself. Even though he was an android with emotions, the dimensional trading system was beyond his understanding.
"I don't need you… Now please leave and go wake up the other crew members!" Vickers ordered.
"As you wish!" David, though confused, obeyed and left.
After David left, Vickers quickly shut the door to stop anything like that from happening again.
"Sorry you had to see that, but don't worry, he's just a robot!" Vickers said to Josh after closing the door. "By the way, I don't know your name yet."
"Josh, Josh Kahn, from America in 1956. Of course, my world is very different from yours," Josh briefly introduced himself.
"…Wow, Captain America? Are you from Marvel?" Vickers was surprised, her eyes wide.
It turned out that, just like in the I, Robot world, Vickers' world also had Marvel comics.
Josh wasn't too surprised by this, but he was a little shocked that someone as stoic as Vickers would read comics.
"I didn't expect you to like comics, Ms. Vickers," Josh said, pretending to be surprised.
"Haha, I actually don't read comics. But when the Weyland Corporation bought Marvel Studios years ago, I ran it for a while, so I learned about it," Vickers explained. Secretly, she decided that after talking to Josh, she would look up all the Marvel comics and movies.
Hearing this, Josh understood right away.
In Prometheus, or the Alien universe, the Weyland Corporation was involved in the story from start to end.
Before the Prometheus project, Weyland was already the world's biggest company, so buying Marvel was normal.
"Let's get to the point, Ms. Vickers. Maybe you don't know yet, but you—and your Prometheus project, no, not just that, but all of human civilization—are facing a huge crisis!" After some small talk, Josh got serious.
"A crisis? What crisis?" Vickers asked, confused.
"It's a long story. It starts with a very advanced civilization, which we can call the Engineers. This Engineer civilization is what you're looking for with the Prometheus…"
Josh then started explaining everything in detail.
