Chapter 404 - Chapter 404: Nami and Kuina’s Trip to Wano Country (4)

Nami and Kuina exchanged a glance, then Nami turned her eyes to Quenn.

Her big eyes blinked a few times, and without blushing or missing a beat, she said:

"Mr. Quenn, we came to Wano because we hope to make a business deal with the Beasts Pirates. We want to buy some high-purity Seastone."

This was an idea Nami had just come up with.

Seastone's importance on the seas couldn't be overstated—it completely counters Devil Fruit powers.

The Dream Expedition Group was planning to go to war with the Celestial Dragons, after all.

If they could get their hands on some high-purity Seastone now, it might play an unexpected role later.

Hearing the words "Seastone," Quenn frowned and started thinking.

Then Yamato suddenly spoke up from the side:

"Oh, so it's Seastone you're after! I know about that. I can take you to where it's kept."

Maybe because both Luffy and Ace were closely connected to the Dream Expedition Group, Yamato felt the urge to help Nami and Kuina.

But Quenn's eyes went wide when he heard this. Looking at Yamato in shock, he asked, "Young Master Yamato, are you saying you'll just hand Seastone over to these two ladies?"

Without hesitation, Yamato nodded and said naturally:

"Yeah, what's the problem, Uncle Quenn? They're my good friends. What's wrong with giving some Seastone to friends? Besides, those stones aren't all that valuable anyway."

Her innocent, childlike expression was on full display.

Quenn could only sigh helplessly and explained:

"Young Master Yamato, you don't understand—Seastone is one of the most important strategic resources for the Beasts Pirates! We rely on it to keep our whole crew running."

"Yamato, it's fine! Our Dream Expedition Group is loaded. We could buy up all the Seastone you have, and even if the price was several times higher, we could still pay without a problem!" Nami said boldly.

Just then, out of nowhere, a piece of cloth floated down and landed perfectly on her head like a special hat.

"That's great! On behalf of Boss Kaido, I agree to this deal!" Quenn's eyes lit up at Nami's confident tone, and without giving Yamato a chance to speak, he nodded quickly.

"Alright, it's settled! You'd better get all the Seastone Wano has mined so far packed up and ready. When we leave, all of it comes with us!" Nami said decisively.

"No problem at all!" Quenn replied without hesitation, patting his broad chest firmly.

"I'll personally arrange for the crew to handle it and make sure every piece is top grade and the highest purity!"

Seeing how smoothly things were going, Yamato still had a few things she wanted to say, but swallowed them back.

She just stood there quietly, saying nothing.

Then, as if she suddenly remembered something very important, she quickly turned to Quenn and said seriously:

"Uncle Quenn!"

"There's something really important I have to make clear! From today on, no matter who it is, you must never call me 'Young Master' again!"

As she spoke, Yamato seemed to feel that wasn't enough. She unconsciously pushed out her already full chest, put her hands on her hips, and continued, "I am a real, genuine woman! No doubt about it!"

In that moment, it was as if time had frozen.

Quenn and the others around him all stared wide-eyed and open-mouthed, their faces full of shock, as if they had been hit with a freezing spell.

It was like they had turned to stone.

They never would have thought that Yamato, who had always called herself a man, would openly admit to being a woman at this moment! And judging by her confident look, it was clear she had known it all along.

For a while, the place was completely silent, with only the sound of the wind gently rustling by…

"Hahaha\~" Nami laughed so hard she almost doubled over, tears nearly streaming from her eyes. She pointed at Yamato and said, "Yamato… you're just too funny. They've been calling you 'Young Master' for over twenty years!"

Kuina, standing to the side, also burst out laughing, their laughter echoing through the street.

Yamato's face instantly turned bright red. She thought back to all the wild, carefree things she'd done when she called herself a man, and now, thinking about it, she just felt unbearably awkward and embarrassed.

She stood there, completely at a loss, not knowing how to respond to the two of them laughing at her.

At that moment, Quenn chuckled, breaking the slightly awkward atmosphere. "Hehehe~ Well then, ladies, why don't you enjoy a nice stroll around the Flower Capital?"

"As for me, I need to get to work sorting out the seastone we just mined from the quarry."

Saying that, he waved to the group of pirates behind him, signaling for them to follow.

"Alright, Yamato, we won't laugh at you anymore," Nami finally managed to stop laughing, reached out to pull Yamato's hand, and said, "Come on, let's keep looking around. I heard the galleries here are really something—why don't we go check them out?"

"Galleries? Really? That's great!" Yamato's interest lit up instantly, the embarrassment on her face slowly fading, replaced by excitement and anticipation.

And so, the three women linked arms, chatting and laughing as they walked toward the galleries of the Flower Capital.

As Nami, Kuina, and Yamato went farther away, Quenn and his group quickly disappeared into the crowd as well.

The street, which had been a bit quiet because of them, quickly returned to its earlier lively state.

People came and went, some stopping to talk, others hurrying along, with all kinds of bustling sounds weaving together into a lively picture of daily life.

At that moment, Nami and Kuina secretly exchanged a glance.

They had both noticed that someone seemed to be following them. The person hadn't shown themselves and was still far away, so they couldn't tell who it was.

Yamato, however, didn't notice at all and just pulled Nami and Kuina along toward the galleries.
