Chapter 267 - Chapter 267: The First Island in the New World

The Dream set slowly rose through the sea.

Everyone on board was full of excitement about finally reaching the New World. Even Ryuen couldn't hide the excitement on his face.

"The New World… a place full of adventure…" Hog was thrilled.

Back when he left his destroyed homeland with Ryuen, he never imagined he'd ever reach the New World. At best, he thought they might make it through the first half of the Grand Line.

But now they were really here—in this world of adventure and powerful fighters!

*Boom!*

All of a sudden, the Dream ship, covered in a special coating, shook hard.

Everyone quickly grabbed onto something nearby to steady themselves. They also held pieces of coral in their hands—if anything went wrong, they'd put on the coral bubble right away.

After several seconds, the ship finally stopped shaking and became stable again.

"What just happened?" Daisy asked, her eyes full of confusion.

No one else knew either, so everyone naturally looked to Nami—the navigator of the crew.

Right then, Nami was frowning as she looked at her wrist, where a log pose with three needles was strapped.

"The ocean current has changed. That shake just now was caused by the current. And now, even the magnetic field is shifting. The first island we were supposed to reach in the New World might not be Punk Hazard anymore." Nami stared at the spinning needles and spoke in a serious tone.

"Whoa~~~"

"Then what do we do now? Where is this current taking us?" Leah sucked in a breath. After all, they were still deep underwater.

Hearing this, Reinagot a little scared and hugged Robin tightly.

The others also started to frown.

"Don't worry, everyone. The current is just a bit messy. We'll still make it to the surface safely. It just means our first stop in the New World has changed," Nami said with a calm smile after feeling the flow of the water for a moment.

"Phew~~"

"That really scared me~~~"

Hearing Nami's words, Reina let go of Robin and sighed in relief.

Her heart had nearly stopped, but now she could finally relax.

"Hee hee hee~~"

"Don't worry, Reina. Nami is the best navigator in the whole world," Leah leaned over with a smile and rubbed Reina's soft bunny ears. "We'll be fine."

"Hahaha~~~"

"She's right! Nami is the best!" the others chimed in, showing their trust and support for Nami.

They all believed that with Nami on board, they would safely reach their destination.

*Whooshhh~~*

Right as they were about to reach the surface, the current suddenly sped up like a rushing flood.

A strong force hit them all at once, giving everyone the feeling of being pushed hard from behind.

Everyone quickly grabbed onto the ship to keep from being thrown around by the impact.

*Boom!* With a loud crash, the Dream ship burst through the surface of the ocean, shining bright like a shooting star in the sky.

At the same time, the coating around the ship broke apart, scattering into countless sparkling pieces, like a colorful firework display.

"Woooow~~~"

"The New World—we're finally here!"

"This is amazing!"

...

Everyone shouted with excitement, their eyes full of curiosity and wonder.

The sunlight warmed their bodies and felt soft on their skin.

A light breeze brushed against their faces, bringing the fresh smell of the ocean. Smiles spread across everyone's faces.

They all took deep breaths, trying to take in the feeling of this strange new world.

"Nami, which direction is the closest island?" Ryuen asked, trying to hide how excited he was as he looked at Nami.

At the same time, everyone else turned to look at her too.

Before they entered the second half of the Grand Line, they had learned that their first stop in the New World was supposed to be Punk Hazard. But with the sea current suddenly going out of control, that plan had changed.

Now, everyone was curious and full of excitement about what island they'd end up on first in the New World.

Nami looked down and checked the log pose in her hand carefully.

She noticed that the three needles had stopped spinning—meaning they were getting closer and closer to their next destination.

Then she closed her eyes and focused on feeling the weather and climate around them to figure out their location and direction.

A moment later, Nami opened her eyes, pointed in a direction, and quickly gave an order: "Hogg, full left rudder! Head that way—we're really close to the next island!"

As soon as Hogg heard her, he turned the ship's wheel without hesitation.

With his movement, the Dream sailed sharply to the left and picked up speed with the help of the sea breeze.

```
Just over an hour later—
The Dream entered another unknown part of the sea. The water was calm, and the sunlight sparkled across the surface. A light breeze blew, and every now and then, a few small fish jumped out of the water.
Hogg stood at the bow, holding a telescope, carefully watching the surroundings.
His face was serious and focused, like he was searching for something important.
Suddenly, he lowered the telescope and pointed at a small island in the distance. "Look! Something's going on over there. It looks like rain, but not really!"
Everyone looked in the direction he was pointing. Sure enough, there was a white mist hanging over that area.
Nami also checked through her telescope. After a moment, she quickly said, "That's the direction the log pose is pointing—we need to go through and check it out."
Splash, splash~~~
The Dream quickly reached the edge of the misty rain. Everyone looked serious and stayed on high alert, ready for anything.
As the ship passed through the mist, a lush island came into view.
"There it is!"
"This feels like some kind of secret place... it's amazing!" Anya said in surprise.
Everyone else looked excited too.
"Looks like there are no signs of people living here. Let's land and take a look," Ryuen decided.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
As the Dream got closer to the island, they noticed a small dock. A few old and worn-out boats were tied up there—it looked like no one had used them in a long time.
Ryuen gave the order to slow down and dock.
The crew carefully got off the ship and began checking out the island. They quickly realized that people had once lived here, but it had long been abandoned.
Most of the buildings were falling apart, with only a few houses still in decent shape.
"No one's here. This place must have been left behind a long time ago… but what really happened here…" Nojiko said, staring at the crumbling buildings with a strange feeling.
