In the throne room, behind the royal seats, I began creating cocoons and a massive nest taking up the entire back of the room. My nest was made of flesh and blood from the corpses my zergs brought me.
It had become a mass of organic tissue mixed with silk secretions. And at the center of it all, I rolled around, finishing it. It took me several hours to make it so big! But it'll help me lay more and store more proteins — the humans...
Once done, I let out a howl that ordered all my children to bring me the 800 humans for my evolution!
An earthquake shook the ground, and my children rushed in with humans in their mouths. I watched it all with a satisfied smile! I looked at Rosia and spoke to her with a very serious expression.
"Rosia, I'm going to evolve. Don't stop the supply of humans — in this enormous city, finding 800 humans is easy!"
"Don't worry, my Queen! There are more than enough humans for your evolution in the capital!"
"Perfect!"
I plunged into the humans thrown into my nest. The moment they touched the nest, tentacles of flesh and blood rushed out to wrap around them, crush them, tear them apart, dismember their bodies!
With the first cocoons of flesh and silk enveloping me, in the darkness of the cocoon, I felt refreshed, like swimming in comforting liquid. I couldn't help but feel clear, joyful thoughts.
Did it take hours? Days? I don't know — I could only feel time passing very slowly and sense the changes in my body. I felt it being destroyed and rebuilt endlessly, every hour, minute, even second!
I could feel my mind begin to drift, focusing on my goals, telling me to go further! To become a better Zerg! A better Zerg Queen!

Suddenly, my mind was completely refreshed, like a cool breeze in the summer… It was so comforting that I fell asleep...
I don't know how much time passed before I woke up, but I could feel my body changing. I could feel three pairs of arms on my sides, and... legs! Yes!
My lower body wasn't insect-like! But like two hind animal legs!
I tore through the cocoon with one of my left arms, my claw piercing it, then split it open like gutting it.
Then I stood up on my new legs to pull myself out. As I rose, I noticed my posture: bent slightly forward. The three pairs of arms hanging toward the ground and my animal legs, with a spike sticking out from my rear.
My mouth is normal, but when opened, it stretches to my human ears! On top of that, I have hair and a much more human face!
My hair is black and white, cascading down. I even have bangs that rise slightly before falling like the rest of my hair. It's almost hypnotic how my striped black and white hair captures the gaze of anyone who looks at it!
As for my body, it's a carapace, like armor, but more flexible without compromising its resistance! If Shell had become Intermediate instead of staying Small, I'm sure I could've been super resilient! Well, whatever! I'm strong enough already!
As I examined myself, Rosia in her human form and Naturia came holding hands, with Calista behind them in an outfit that barely hid anything!
I saw bite marks on Calista's body, but I smelled no sexual scent. That makes me think Rosia hasn't touched her ex-mother sexually yet, but rather tortured her with bites without going too far...
"My Queen! I'm so glad you were safe during your evolution!"
Rosia said softly as she knelt! Naturia and Calista knelt too, though the ex-queen didn't seem to do it willingly, her face twisted in humiliation, her teeth biting into her lower lip until it bled!
"Congratulations, my Queen!"
Naturia seemed to have stars in her eyes as she said it! Speaking of her, she'll be the next Zerg to be born by transforming her directly from a human!
But I noticed something else… I'm half the size of these girls! I feel like I have the size of a little girl! Damn it! Well, I kinda expected that… After all, I was the size of a foot as a Newborn, and now after evolving into an Advanced Larva, it's normal to grow but not be that tall!
"Thank you..."
Huh? I can talk like a human now! No more screeching to communicate! HELL YEAH!
With that joyful thought and my slightly twisted smile, I sat on my throne, then looked at the girls.
"Tell me, how is our invasion of the city going? And how long was I in evolution?"
Rosia, kneeling on one knee, spoke to me respectfully.
"You evolved for two full days, my Queen!"
This time it was Naturia who continued.
"As for the conquest, it was simple. With parasitized people here and there, invading from the inside and outside was easy! We conquered the city effortlessly with guards and nobles on our side!"
"And with the power difference between Zergs and normal humans, your invasion was simple, Queen Pallas…"
Huh? Who would've thought Calista would be the one to say that last part? I looked at her in those barely-there clothes and couldn't help but lick my lips with pleasure… Seeing her like that gave me an idea!
"Rosia, I hope you haven't announced to the world that you're a Zerg?"
"No, my Queen, I haven't said anything yet!"
"Perfect! Then here's what we're going to do…"
I started explaining my plan to the three girls. As I detailed each phase, their expressions changed — each in their own way.
Naturia's eyes widened, looking at me with growing respect and admiration with every step I described.
Rosia's eyes lit up with delicious malice, her smile widening as she grasped the full implications of what I proposed.
As for Calista… her face shifted from confusion to horror, then to utter shock. She couldn't stop crying, faced with this total defeat, realizing her last hope had vanished.
