Mygarth lifted his hand, and black demonic energy wrapped around his fingers like smoke.
"We want to see if demonic power can reach whatever is still alive inside them," he explained. "Their bodies function. Their muscles respond. Only the mind is locked away. So maybe… we can wake something up."
Alex stepped closer to the table, looking down at the Chitauri soldier. Its chest still moved slightly—slow, shallow breaths. Its eyes were closed, but the skin around them twitched now and then, like something inside was struggling.
"So your plan," Alex said slowly, "is to poke the brainwashed alien with demon energy and see what happens."
"Pretty much, yes," Colleen said, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
Sue pointed at the containment field. "We made sure the restraints can hold it. Even if it wakes up."
Alex sighed. "Alright. Do it. But carefully. If it wakes up screaming, I don't want the whole basement echoing."
Mygarth nodded once.
Then he placed his glowing hand over the alien's forehead.
A small pulse of black energy sank into the Chitauri's skin.
For a moment—nothing happened.
The room stayed quiet. The lights hummed.Everyone held their breath.
Then the Chitauri's fingers twitched.
Sue stepped back. "Okay… that's not normal."
The alien's chest rose deeper this time—like someone taking a sharp inhale during a nightmare.
Its eyes moved rapidly under the lids.
Maria swallowed. "Is it… waking up?"
Before anyone could answer—
The Chitauri's eyes snapped open.
But instead of the usual cold, soldier-like stare…its eyes were wild, shifting, chaotic—like something broken was trying to put itself back together.
It let out a sound—not a scream, not a roar—something in between.Confused.Panicked.Fighting itself.
Alex's expression stayed firm. "Contain it. Just make sure it doesn't fall out of the restraints."
Mygarth pressed his hand forward. The barrier thickened, humming softly.
Inside, the Chitauri jerked once… twice…
Then collapsed again—chest rising and falling fast, eyes wide with confusion.
"…It's awake," Mygarth said. "But its mind is broken. Like someone woke it up without any memories or purpose."
No one panicked.
No one even stepped back.
Colleen just leaned forward slightly. "It looks too weak to move."
Sue nodded. "If it attacked right now, it wouldn't even scratch us."
Maria crossed her arms. "Honestly… it looks like it's having a panic attack."
Alex stepped closer to the containment field, calm and unhurried.
"So we can revive them," he said, "but what we get is nothing more than a scared creature running on instinct."
The others watched quietly as Alex crouched near the barrier.
"Let's see if it can talk," he said. "Or remember anything."
The alien's shaking eyes darted around—until they landed on Alex.
Its voice cracked, thin and trembling:
"…ma…ster…?"
No one reacted with fear.
They just looked at each other.
Mygarth raised one eyebrow.
Alex sighed. "…I'm not your master."
But the Chitauri shook its head hard—like a frightened child insisting on something.
"New… master… same energy… same…"
Mygarth exhaled slowly.
"It recognizes your demonic energy. It thinks you replaced its old controller."
Alex blinked once.
"…Fantastic," Alex said dryly. "I accidentally own a panicking alien that can't even stand up."
He turned to Mygarth. "Do they have any particular traits that are useful?"
Mygarth shook his head. "No. They're basically like humans. Nothing special. Maybe a little more intelligent in some areas, but that's it."
Alex nodded slowly.
"Alright. Pump more demonic energy into it. Turn it into a demon-being. Let's see if we get something useful out of it."
The others exchanged calm looks, then nodded.
Mygarth raised his hand again, this time gathering a denser, darker sphere of demonic energy.
The Chitauri saw it—and instantly started shaking harder, terrified and confused.
"It won't resist," Colleen said quietly. "It's too weak."
"Good," Alex replied.
The energy orb pressed through the barrier, sinking into the alien's chest.
The Chitauri gasped—its back arching as the demonic power spread through its veins like black fire.
Maria watched with mild curiosity. "Is this safe?"
"Probably," Alex said.
The alien's skin shifted—its dull, purple-gray tone darkening.
Veins turned black.
The faint glow in its eyes shifted from pale blue to deep crimson.
But even while transforming, the creature couldn't lift its own arms. It simply lay there, trembling.
Mygarth lowered his hand. "Conversion complete."
Alex stepped closer. "Alright. Let's see what we made."
The Chitauri blinked—still frightened, still weak, but now clearly sensing something new inside its body.
"…m-master…"
Its voice was clearer now. Stronger.
Alex raised a brow. "Can you understand me better now?"
The creature nodded weakly.
"Yes… energy… clearer… commands… clearer…"
Sue crossed her arms. "So we basically made it a demonic remote-control pet."
"Not a pet," Mygarth corrected calmly. "More like a drone. A very frightened drone."
Alex snapped his fingers.
"Stand up."
The alien tried—legs shaking violently. It pushed itself halfway up… then collapsed again, gasping.
Alex sighed.
"Wow. Even demon conversion didn't fix the 'can't stand up' problem."
Maria shrugged. "Well, it just woke up from a forced coma and got infused with demonic energy. Maybe give it a minute."
Alex walked around the containment cell, studying the alien like he was checking a product he ordered online.
"…If this thing survives, tell me what abilities it gained," Alex said, turning away.
His girlfriends followed after him, while Mygarth bowed deeply and stayed behind.
"I had fun messing with a lot of aliens," Maria said as they walked.
Alex nodded—his girls had grown much stronger thanks to him.
His human girlfriends now possessed Chi and Greater Light Manipulation, so fighting the Chitauri had been easy for them.
His demonic girlfriends had their own bloodline abilities, combined with the Greater Darkness Manipulation he had granted them.
As a result, they were even stronger than the Avengers—perhaps only Thor and Hulk could surpass them.
Among all of them, the most notable was Colleen, who fought like a war goddess, wielding Chi and light-forged weapons with divine precision.
