"Codex: Innate Magic and Magics of Azeroth
The Cosmos is a realm filled with potent Magics, also termed as: Magiks, Magicks, Wizardry and Sorcery. Since the dawn of time, these forces have influenced the Cosmos, setting the stars in motion and the destiny of countless worlds and mortal civilizations.
Magical Energies are most apparent beneath the earth as well as in special locations - centers of elemental forces, otherworldly powers, and mystical energies. The nature and uses of the forms of Magic are vigorously debated on Azeroth, but the magnitude of what Magic can accomplish cannot be doubted.
Every branch of Magic on Azeroth originates from one of the Cosmic Forces:
Holy Magic originated from the Cosmic Force - Light.
Shadow Magic originated from the Cosmic Force - Void.
Nature Magic originated from the Cosmic Force - Life.
Necromantic Magic originated from the Cosmic Force - Death.
Arcane Magic originated from the Cosmic Force - Order.
Fel Magic originated from the Cosmic Force - Disorder.
Aside from the great six branches of Magic, there also exist many minor forms of Magic like Runic Magic, Blood Magic, Technomancy, Chronomancy, Shamanism, Voodoo and Geomancy.
Aside from the something that was called as General Magic, there also existed Innate Magic that was becoming widespread by the Grand Patriarch of the Psijic Order and one of the Empresses of the Sacred Phoenix Empire, Irene Belserion.
The Innate Magic is strongly tied to the individual's Spirit, Talent, Soul, and very own predispositions toward certain aspects. Not every Mage could awaken the Innate Magic, and inhabitants of Azeroth had relatively low chances of awakening Innate Magic even with a specific method devised by Irene Belserion.
Contrary to the General Magic, the Innate Magic depends far more on Talent and Spirit; one's Magical Powers are also tied to one's life force, and one's strength of feelings plays an important part in one's ability to properly use Innate Magic.
It is a generally accepted fact that the concept of the Innate Magic is not native to Azeroth, but was brought by Irene Belserion from her homeworld, Earth Land. Currently, in the modern age, the highest number of Mages with Innate Magic is within the Sacred Phoenix Empire."

Azeroth Continent, Black Morass, Swamp of Sorrows
Far distant from civilization, the Swamp of Sorrows is a stagnant marshland of sucking bogs and weeping trees. The ocean seeps into the fen, making the water brackish and ideal for alligators and crocolisks. Salt deposits encrust fallen logs and protruding rocks. Bog beasts slog through the interior.
Despite these dangers, the Horde has taken advantage of the region's distance from Stormwind to establish a colony in the zone. Within the Swamp of Sorrows, the Temple of Atal'Hakkar was located. An ancient troll edifice that channels demonic energy and drives living creatures to madness and violence.
The Swamp of Sorrows stood on the eastern side of Azeroth, east of Deadwind Pass, north of the Blasted Lands, and south of the Redridge Mountains.
Most of the swamp is dominated by nature. Wild beasts like crocolisks, spiders, and jaguars hunt for prey, while aggressive murloc and gilblin tribes populate the coast and nearby caves.
Murlocs possess bulbous bodies, large mouths lined with rows of sharp fangs, and slime-coated skin. Individuals range in coloration from turquoise to darkish grey, while their heights vary from one meter to 1,8 meters.
Depending on the variety, murlocs may lean towards a closer resemblance to frogs or to fish.
"Disappear."
A crimson explosion enveloped a group of several dozen murlcoks who wanted to attack their target, blasting them apart along with a good bunch of trees and rocks, which were obliterated from existence.
"Disgusting creatures."
The woman who appeared from the woods and who was also the target of the murlocks was a tall, voluptuous woman with thickly braided, bow-adorned, scarlet hair. Her two front braids have two golden ornaments near the upper sections; she also wore two U-shaped earrings, one on each ear, and wore red lipstick.
For clothing, she dons a risqué version of the typical witch's garb. Her black top has a diamond-shaped opening, exposing a portion of her breasts, and a heart-shaped pattern around the borders. It extends down to the naval of her stomach, where it meets a large, angular scar, is draped over by a dark-colored cape with a light-colored inside and two medallion-like gold ornaments, and is held together by a golden chain.
Not left bare, too, her neck is decorated by other small cloth-based accessories, including a wide bow. Additionally, she wore an elongated black loincloth with the same symbol emblazoned on its front, having white borders on its edges, and being connected to another cloth piece with the very same heart-shaped design.
She also wore black thigh-high boots with heels that had a white-colored border near the top and gloves of the same color and design, only having claw-like extensions. Her black witch's hat is much larger than her head and possesses dreadlock designs with white bandaging near its ends; it also has a fur lining near its edges.
"This world is far richer in Magic... yet my power has dropped considerably... though, this world certainly isn't Earth Land, that is for sure. Right now, the most prudent course of action would be to search for civilization and seek more information."
The woman muttered as she proceeded deeper into the forest. As one of the most powerful Mages that have ever walked through the Earth Land, and as such, she was aware of the different worlds aside from the Earth Land.
She herself visited the world of Edolas and also the world of Elentear, and she had to admit that the levels of Magic in this place were similar to those of Elentear. She felt much weaker as she arrived in this world, while at the same time, she knew that she was stuck here for some time.
Nevertheless...
She was Irene Belserion, the Scarlet Despair, and informally called "Queen of Magic".
There wasn't much that she feared; she was the very first Dragon Slayer of the Earth Land, the Mother of All Dragon Slayers, as it was she who created the Dragon Slayer Magic.
"Though... if there is such a high density of Magic, this world must be extremely powerful..."
If there was one thing that remained within her, after all, it was the deep love and desire for uncovering the secrets of Magic. She created the Dragon Slayer Magic and became one of the very first Dragon Slayers through the Dragon Slayer Magic.
Because her transformation was unstable, she couldn't turn back to her human form, and as a result, she was turned back only by the efforts of Zeref. In the exchange, she agreed to join the Alvarez Empire as a way to pay for the gratitude for turning her back, and also because Zeref promised her access to the Magics collected by the Empire.
Nevertheless, she never really felt any sort of deep loyalty toward the Alvarez Empire at all...
Nor did she really care about the fate of the Empire or even the Earth Land as a whole. She looked into the skies as she adjusted her huge Witch hat and proceeded to delve deeper into the woods.
There was something in her eyes that reminded her of the sadness as she looked at the clear skies.
Irene directly searched for the strongest and largest Magical signatures, because she knew that there would be some sort of civilization. She needed information about the world in which she was, and she also needed to gauge the power of the natives.
At the same time, she wanted to fight some more powerful monsters or creatures from this world because even from the ones that she had forgotten before, she could sense a considerable amount of Magic.
This was rather interesting because, considering their appearance and location, she quickly concluded that they were some of the lowest rugs in the world. Unbeknownst to Irene, Murlocks were more or less considered as nothing more than pests.
According to Irene's calculation, these creatures would probably be ranked as E-Rank or D-Rank Magic Creatures in the Earth Land, which was neither low nor high; it was rather befitting.
Still, it made her curious about the state of this world.
She knew that the more Magic the world had, the more powerful its inhabitants would be. Like the world of Elentar, which had some of the strongest and most powerful Mages that she had ever seen, and several of them were strong enough to rival Zeref.
Additionally, due to a much higher concentration of Magic in that world, it was much easier to become a Mage, and for the Mages, it was much easier to train and become stronger.
Irene continued walking through the forest for some time as she followed the tracks of powerful Magic signatures that were leading her in a certain direction. She was able to sense some really powerful Magical signature that was on the level of Spriggan Twevle...
Albeit far weaker than most of them, it was still a very powerful signature, while at the same time, she was able to sense something disturbing in there. She didn't know where to put it, but it was a feeling that was very similar to the bearers of the God Slayer Magic.
But not the fake ones that obtained the God Slayer Magic through the implantation of Lacrima, but were taught the God Slayer Magic directly by the Gods themselves. She met one such person, not long after she arrived at the Alvarez Empire.
Dimaria Yesta.
Bearer of the God Soul of Chronos, the God of Time of the Earth Land.
'So this world has Gods... and they are far more active than the ones in our world if they could handle Blessings like this. Well, it seemed that this would be much more entertaining than I would have thought...'
She thought as she increased her speed by a great degree and rushed towards the place from which she sensed not only a very strong Magical signature, but also it was a place of battle between two sides.

Somewhere in the Swamp of the Sorrows
Yan Di was one of the Captains of the Imperial Bending Legion, and he was also a favourite for the new Commander of the Imperial Bending Legion after the current Commander, Queen Azula, retired from the position.
The Yan Clan was a long line of the Firebenders of the Fire Nation, although they didn't really belong to the nobility, because they were generally not interested in politics or even economics.
The sole thing that was interesting to the members of the Yan Clan was the Firebending. They were Firebenders who were always constantly pushing the boundaries of Firebending, and due to that, they were also the first ones who swore their loyalty to the new Fire Lord.
The Phoenix Style Firebending was the compilation of many centuries and was an immensely powerful Firebending Style.
Like many others in the Yan Clan, Yan Di also served in the Military of the Fire Nation, and after the civil war, he was installed as the Vice Commander of the Imperial Bending Legion, serving as adjutant to Queen Azula Septim, who was the second most powerful Firebender in the world.
He was a prodigy of the Firebending and a rising star of the Benders of the entire Fire Nation.
According to the classifications of Azeroth, he was already a Hero-Level Firebender, albeit he was standing on the weaker spectre of the Hero-Level; he was still one nonetheless, and thus he was charged as the Vanguard by the Sky Marshal Zhao Ming, who was in charge of the entire combat operation in the Marshtides and Bogpaddle Peak.
From those points, they would be advancing to the Temple of Atal'Hakkar, which was now abandoned primarily. According to the information they gathered, Hakkar the Soulflayer abandoned the Temple of Atal'Hakkar many centuries ago, and now, the Temple of Atal'Hakkar is just an ordinary fortress for the Gurubashi Troll Tribe.
Vice Commander Yan Di was clad in the traditional armor of the Imperial Benders, albeit with an updated design for better protection capabilities, as he had his sword strapped to his back, because he was also a swordsman.
"We are nearing the Marshtides, and we can see the Trolls. Their defensive positions have something around eight thousand to ten thousand troops."
One of Yan Di's subordinates stated that he was accompanying three whole Legions, of 30,000 men. The Fire Nation had a population of something around three million, yet their army numbered more than five hundred thousand.
And this did not take into account the combat-ready population, because most Fire Nation citizens could be called into combat if the situation grew severe enough to warrant a large-scale mobilization.
"Firebenders create fire! Airbenders support the Firebenders with the increased capacity of the oxygen and air circulation."
Vice Commander Yan Di stood on the deck of one of the Gargantua-Class Battleships of the Royal Air Force as he started issuing orders to the Imperial Benders.
For the Fire Nation, war against the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance would be the first test of the Fire Lord's military reforms, changes in the military doctrine, and the ultimate test of his tenure as the Lord of the Fire Nation.
Upon a single command from their Commander, the Imperial Benders immediately got into their positions.
Firebenders started creating fire, and Airbenders, even though there were only a few of them, were using their Airbending to control the air and increase the oxygen and air circulation.
This made the fire even stronger and more powerful.
"Firebenders prepare!"
Yan Di shouted as the Firebnders on all of the airships mimicked the action till the last ones, as the orders were being transmitted by the Orbal Technology from one airship to another in real time.
"Release!"
As the Vice Commander of the Imperial Bending Legion gave out his order, several hundred Firebenders executed their katas in the Phoenix Style of Firebending, and suddenly, several hundred hurdles of burning fire were being shot at the positions of the Gurubashi Trolls.
Because the Temple of Atal'Hakkar was the historical site of the Gurubashi Troll Tribe, only they were in the region, and the other Jungle Troll Tribes were decisively avoiding this place like a plague, as the Temple of Atal'Hakkar had deep religious meaning for the Gurubashi Trolls.
In a split second, hundreds of trolls were being burned to the crisis by the Firebenders as the Airships of the Fire Nation didn't let anyone wait, as a thunderous barrage from their Orbal Batteries resounded through the entire area and hit the defensive positions of the Gurubashi Trolls.
The bombardment of the Fire Nation on the post of Gurubashi Trolls was strong and merciless, as they were heading to directly annihilate everything in their path, leaving no one alive after they were done with them.
With this, the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance War has been officially started.
"Vice Commander, we received a message from the Sky Marshall Zhao Ming."
After something short of ten minutes, Yan Di felt that he would be going deaf sooner or later, because the Orbal Batteries on the Airships were firing non-stop.
Interestingly enough, after the first few barrages, the Gurubashi Trolls showed their cards and either hid in their fortifications or used some of their Magic to erect a huge barrier that was protecting them from the mad artillery fire of the Fire Nation.
"What does the Sky Marshall order?"
Yan Di asked, though he suspected that he was ordering them to join the Vanguard and start pushing into the defense of the Gurubashi Trolls. Most of their defenses were already destroyed, and what was remaining wasn't worth mentioning.
The magical barrier that the Trolls were using to defending from the bombardment of the Airfleet was flimsy at best, according to the few High Elves that were on the deck together with them, and the High Elves told them that the barrier was more or like a result of the Artifact and not of the efforts of a powerful caster.
"We are to join the 17th Legion on the ground and take part in the Vanguard."
Vice Commander of the Imperial Bending Legion nodded his head as he went to join the Vanguard force, as the Imperial Benders would play a crucial role in the Vanguard because they were the ones who had the firepower behind their moves.

???
The failure of the Bloodlord Madokir and High Priest Zanzil spread rather fast among the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance, and the trolls knew, at least those smarter ones knew, that there would be war.
What was even worse in the situation was the fact that the two of them carried out the plan when the foreigners were visiting them. The ones that came from the land called Fire Nation and the ones that their God warned them about.
Vol'Jin was rather young for a troll, only a few decades old, but he was already one of the most powerful members of the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance and was one of their strongest Heroes.
As a Witch Doctor of considerable power, he was one of the pillars of the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance and was also representative of his tribe within the Alliance, the Darkspear Tribe.
The Darkspear Tribe was originally part of the Gurubashi Tribe, but due to internal disagreements, they split apart, and the Darkspear Tribe became its own separate entity that was exiled from their ancestors, and they relocated to the area of the Swamps of Sorrows.
The Darkspear were mortal enemies of the Amani Tribe. They were also at war with the Skullsplitter Tribe for years, and the Bloodscalp Tribe is also said to be their enemy, so there were not really many places where they could go.
During their time in Stranglethorn, they would be plagued by constant famine and warfare for centuries, as they were not as savage and ruthless as the other tribes, and that made them an easy target.
In the Swamp of Sorrows, they were doing much better, for the first time in many centuries.
Vol'jin was the son of the current Chieftain of the Darkspear Tribe, Sen'jin.
They were at war.
Vol'jin, despite his hatred towards humans, didn't hold the delusions like the other elders of the Tribes. He was very pragmatic to the point where he realized that the humans were far more powerful than the Trolls.
Despite his strong reluctance and disdain, the greatest glory of the trolls has already passed.
Their Empires were shattered by the Elves in the ancient past, and at last... the last grand Empire of trolls, the Amani Empire, was destroyed by the Arathi Empire and Quel'Thalas 2,700 years ago.
Trolls were not the most populous, because their population was much smaller than that of humans overall. They could safely say that there were not more than three million Trolls in the Eastern Kingdoms overall, and more than one million of them were in Lordaeron.
The rest was in the south, yet they were too engrossed in hating each other.
Vol'jin knew that even the Avatar of Hakkar the Soulflayer was destroyed at the hands of the foreigners, which meant that the foreigners were also of great power. And now, their Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance wasn't facing just Stormwind, but also the Fire Nation that brought them their might.
He could see it...
Weapons like those of Dwarves of Ironforge, Goblins, and Gnomes, yet they were more advanced and more destructive, as they were bombarding their positions and obliterating them from existence.
Fortunately enough, he already sent out a request for reinforcements, and it won't take long for them to arrive. Till then, they needed to keep the Fire Nationers in this place and occupy their attention long enough.
Vol'jin wanted his people to prosper and didn't want a necessary war, but he also understood that there would be no reconciliation between the trolls and humans. The hatred was too deep, and the only option that was left for them was to fight.
He was a very powerful Hero of the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance and was required to fight against the threat of this military alliance. However, Vol'jin was also rather smart, as he managed to convince his father to relocate their Darkspear Tribe to the islands in the South Sea for their safety.
His father actually agreed with him on that aspect.
Both of them understood that even just against Stormwind, the Jungle Troll Tribal Alliance was severely outmatched. Stormwind had a standing army of at least two hundred thousand man according to their information and could mobilize even more.
At the same time, they had one of the very few Legendary beings on their side, the Guardian, and even though the Gurubashi Trolls could summon their protector, the Loa of Blood couldn't appear in his true form for a variety of reasons.

Somewhere near the location of the battle
The closer Irene got to the place where she could sense the battle that was commencing, the more she was able to observe the clash from a distance. What was surprising, though, was that one of the factions that was fighting had some really advanced forms of Magic Technology.
Magic Technology wasn't anything foreign to the Earth Land. On the contrary, Earth Land had a relatively advanced degree of Magic Technology, with the Alvarez Empire being one of the pivotal leaders in the development of the Magic Technology due to the presence of the Machias Race within the Empire.
Still, the power of the Magical Technology of this kind was superior to that of the Alvarez Empire.
What caught her attention was the fight between the individuals in front of her, because both of them were considerably powerful. At least, according to the Earth Land, both of them would be powerful enough to become one of the Spriggan Twelve, judging based on the Magic of one and the weird energy of another.
'Yet... Spriggans should be far more destructive in their attacks... it seems that the World Laws of this world are extremely powerful, though that's only fitting to the strong world like this.'
She was able to sense the power of both combatants, though what was intriguing to her was that their power, the raw power, the presence of Magic or some kind of Spirit Energy in the case of the other person, was strong enough to rival that of Spriggan 12 on the weaker end...
Neither of them could unleash such a degree of destruction as the Spriggans could do all the time... she didn't know that if it was due to the fact that this world was so penetrated with Mana, to the point where everything was more resistant, or the World Laws were basically suppressing it.
Though...
On the other hand, she didn't even care that much, actually.
What caught her attention was the fact that the one who used that weird Spirit-like Energy was clearly human, but the one who used Magic clearly wasn't.
These beings had bluish-purple skin; their bodies were covered in short, soft fur that caused them to appear purple or grey. They had long limbs and a rather striking and fearsome appearance.
Its most defining features were its facial features, which include a long, sharp nose, tusks protruding from its mouth, and glowing eyes. They had red mohawks and pointed ears, giving it a distinct tribal warrior look.
From the look, she knew that these were some creatures of dark power...
She could sense the presence of something that was both Divine, yet it was incredibly Evil and Dark. For several moments, Irene was deciding on what to do, until she decided that she would intervene in the fight, because she could clearly see that the human was going to lose.
Even though both of them would be classified as Spriggans, Irene could clearly see that the human one was barely at that level, while his opponent was someone who reached this level of power a long time ago and had already solidified his foundation.
She knew that the one who was fighting against the blue-skinned creature must be someone high-ranking, and obviously, they would be helpful to her. Even though Irene felt vulnerable by a significant degree, she was still more than enough to handle the blue-skinned creature that was also not in perfect condition from the fight.
"Sage Dragon Slayer Magic: Sage Dragon's Roar!"
Suddenly, Irene spat a destructive blast of pure Mana from her mouth, which in a mere moment, hit the blue-skinned creature in the back as the being was entirely unaware that it was about to be attacked.
In a split of a moment, the blue-skinned creature was thrown back, as it crashed into the ground, and Irene could see that it was severely injured from the attack. Her power, even in the weakened state, was not to be underestimated.
Suddenly, the man who was fighting against the blue-skinned creature sighed in relief as he could finally have some rest, because his opponent was pushing him too hard, and the longer the fight went, the weaker he got.
Dragon Slayer Magic was very powerful branch of Magic in the Earth Land.
It is a type of Lost Magic which allows its users to transform their physical bodies into a Dragon. As a result, the user can transform their body with features of their respective attribute or element, utilizing both offensive and defensive styles.
A Dragon Slayer was resilient to the effects or hindrance of their own element, even if it is reflected back at them with greater power, and can consume external sources of their attribute or element to replenish their strength. However, a Dragon Slayer cannot consume the attribute or element that they produce themselves, and the attributes or elements must be consumed through the mouth.
Irene didn't waste any more time, as she knew that despite the fact that her attack managed to hit the blue-skinned creature almost perfectly, it wasn't dead nor it was even crippled. She instantly appeared near the place where the blue-skinned creature crashed, and she used her Enchant Magic once more.
'Enchant Magic: Greater Disappear.'
The Greater Disappear was basically the strengthened version of the Disappear, as a huge explosion appeared out of nowhere, and the ground shook to the point where it attracted the attention of the nearby troops.
Irene noticed that the human who was fighting against the blue-skinned creature didn't waste any more time, as he joined the fight against the other blue-skinned creatures and was also commanding the other troops.
In her eyes, cross-shaped patterns appeared as she was using the Eye Magic to observe the Lifoforce of the blue-skinned creature that she was fighting, as she noticed that it was clearly dying.
Or rather, it started dying.
Yet...
She also noticed something odd about the blue-skinned creature, because just as the state of the blue-skinned creature was about to get even worse, suddenly, a rather odd and dark branch of Magic burst out of its body and the creature's wounds started healing at a rapid pace, yet the Lifeforce of the creature was getting weaker and weaker.
'Some kind of Dark Magic... and also Sacrificial one.'
Irene Belserion thought as she tapped several times on the ground with her staff.
"Sage Dragon Slayer Magic: Judgement of the Sage!"
As she cast the spell, suddenly the Magic in the environment materialized around Irene and congregated into the shape of the sword that was shot toward the blue-skinned creature that wanted to do something.
Irene, as a very experienced combatant and Mage, knew that whatever the opponent was doing, she couldn't allow him to succeed; thus, she cast one of the strongest spells in her arsenal as the sword made of the Sage Dragon Slayer Magic pierced through the creature's body in a mere moment.
Even faster than anyone could really see or realize what was happening. Once the blue-skinned creature was killed, Irene noticed that the remaining blue-skinned creatures had only two kinds of reactions.
Some started going berserk, like really berserk, and attacking everything and everyone in the surrounding area, like they had lost their whole reasoning and sanity. The second group of the blue-skinned creatures, albeit the smaller ones, started frantically panicking and escaping as fast as they could.
Irene observed how the human soldiers started systematically advancing and exterminating the blue-skinned creatures. What caught Irene's attention was the way they were fighting, which implied that they were soldiers who had been heavily tempered with blood and war.
They were elite soldiers who saw a lot of war and combat, it seemed that whatever nation they were serving, was a very combative nation that always went for the military approach as the first one.
"Thank you for your help, My Lady. I am Vice Commander Yan Di of Imperial Bender Legion of the Fire Nation, under the command of His Majesty, Fire Lord Aenarion Septim."
Irene turned around and saw there the man who was fighting against the strongest blue-skinned creature as he went up to her. She could see a certain kind of wariness in his voice, but that was understandable as she was powerful and was unknown.
The man introduced himself as he thanked her for her assistance.
"Irene Belserion. Independent Mage."
Considering that this world had Magic, she just told him that she was an Independent Mage and nothing else, which in a certain sense was true.
In Earth Land, Independent Mages were Mages that were not officially recognized by the Magic Council and did not belong to either Legal Guilds or Dark Guilds, instead being part of the so-called Independent Guilds.
"Then, in that case, would you allow me to invite you to the flagship as a token of gratitude?"
