A dark shape came out of the swirling tunnel: a huge dragon made entirely of space energy, its scales clear like crystal, its eyes burning with purple light.
Its gaze locked onto Shen Yi first, a flash of wanting to kill in its eyes like lightning.
Beside him, Zi Yan quickly stepped forward. "Elder! It's me… Zi Yan!"
The dragon's eyes widened a little, its killing intent weakening. "Zi Yan…? You… you're alive?"
The huge head lowered, its nose flaring as it sniffed her energy. When it spoke again, its tone had softened in surprise but still sounded like a guardian.
"Your bloodline has changed. It carries the mark of waking up… the power of the Dragon Emperor. Impossible… you?"
"I'll explain inside," Zi Yan gently cut in, smiling faintly. She turned toward Shen Yi. "He's with me. My friend. Without him, I wouldn't have woken up."
The void dragon elder's eyes flickered, looking at Shen Yi again. While Shen Yi glanced at him calmly in return, a steady stare met the dragon's gaze without fear.
For a moment, time seemed to stop between them… human and dragon, both holding power that could shake the heavens.
After failing to see through Shen Yi's strength,
"Humph!"
Then the Elder snorted, letting out a puff of space-energy, then he transformed into a human form; an old man with white hair appeared in front of them both.
"Very well, I am Zhu Li, the third elder of this eastern dragon island. I thank you on behalf of the Void Ancient Dragon Tribe for returning our dragon princess. Please follow me."
Shen Yi's lips curved faintly, looking at Zi Yan beside him. "It seems your tribe really doesn't like visitors. Especially humans."
Zi Yan was startled and then looked back at him embarrassedly, her tone quiet. "I don't know about the customs, but this place is the real home in my memory. But it's also a cage built by my ancestors. No outsider has ever been allowed in."
The Elder Zhu Li then waved his hand and created the void channel; its opening was like a swirling space. The path cleared… a hallway of swirling light leading into the unknown.
"Follow me," Zhu Li spoke, and he flew inside the channel.
Shen Yi smiled and replied, meeting her gaze. "Anyway, let's see what your ancient void clan realm looks like."
He stepped forward first; the space barrier moved aside around him, letting him pass as if recognizing them. Zi Yan followed close behind.
'This is the barrier of this realm,'
Shen Yi's attention shifted when he saw the light circle. Both his and Zi Yan's speed was raised as they followed close behind Zhu Li.
A moment later, the three of them transformed into three figures of light that charged into the silver circle.
Zi Yan's sight momentarily became blurry after having charged into the light circle.
The next moment, her vision returned. The scene in front of them was no longer filled with that monotonous silver color. A lush green mountain filled their eyes now.
"This is…" Zi Yan muttered in surprise, looking at the unimaginably large lush island with empty edges around.
'Not bad.' A thought flashed through Shen Yi's mind as he looked at the eastern island in front of them.
The size of this island was extremely spacious. There was a faint-silver circular outline in the sky above the island. It formed a bowl-like shape, wrapping the entire island in it.
This island was suspended within empty space!
Although the size of the island was no match for the realms that elite Dou Saints created, this place was even more hidden.
Even an elite Dou Zun would not dare to randomly barge into the realm of emptiness. Creating a resting place in this area was extremely safe. No wonder there isn't any news related to the Ancient Void Dragon in the Central Plains. They were living within the realm of emptiness.

Zhu Li brought them inside the guest hall, and he glanced at Shen Yi.
"Please, little friend, you can stay here for a while." After speaking, he glanced at Zi Yan and said, "Princess, follow me; I want you to meet the first and second elder, tell us about your bloodline awakening."
Zi Yan was startled, just as she wanted to say something looking at the Elder and Shen Yi.
"Go, they are not hostile to you. Tell them everything you encountered." Shen Yi spoke, patting her shoulder. Zhu Li raised his brow, hearing his words and observing Zi Yan's reaction.
'It seems I have misunderstood; the princess has an unusual relationship with this human boy. Anyway, she is a heaven-sent opportunity for our clan and probably the future empress of our tribe.'
Zhu Li thought in his heart, and then he nodded, looking at Shen Yi with a little more attention than before, and then turned around, walking away with Zi Yan following behind him.
Shen Yi glanced at the empty guest hall; he glanced at the sky and then appeared standing at the edge, looking at the whole eastern island below. 'I have to find a few more ninth-rank treasures; looks like I have to visit those secret realms after dealing with Zi Yan's trouble.'
