"Professor!"

As the spatial portal vanished, Hank the Beast, overwhelmed with emotion, lost the effect of the serum that suppressed his mutant genes. His body slowly reverted to his blue-furred beast form.

In his beast form, Hank's strength increased dramatically. With sheer force, he tore apart the metal chains that had bound him.

He then helped Mystique and CIA agent Moira MacTaggert out of their restraints and revived Havok, Alex, who had been knocked unconscious.

"Who was that man with Erik, and why did he abduct Charles?"

Mystique and Beast looked utterly confused. They still knew nothing about Apocalypse.

Moira, however, quickly shared all the intelligence she had uncovered regarding Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen.

Meanwhile, George's thought-projection did not linger in the Cerebro chamber. He teleported directly to the school gates, dropped his invisibility, and strolled inside openly.

"That speed… is it Quicksilver?"

But after only a couple of steps, he froze. A silver-haired young man had already appeared beside him.

"Hey, is this Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?"

Quicksilver held a worn business card, glanced at the school ahead, and asked George.

Recently, he had learned from his mother that the man he rescued from the Pentagon ten years ago—Magneto—was actually his biological father.

So, carrying the card Professor X had given him back then, he came here hoping Charles could help him find Magneto and finally meet his real father.

"Seems like it. This is my first time here, too."

George smiled and replied.

"Nice to meet you. I'm George."

"Pietro Maximoff."

Quicksilver grinned and shook George's hand warmly.

"First time for you, first time for me—it must be fate."

"To fate, then."

George flipped his hand, and two bottles of cola materialized out of thin air. He passed one to Quicksilver.

Quicksilver's eyes lit up instantly.

"Whoa, that's awesome! Your superpower is… making cola appear?"

"I can conjure anything."

George opened his bottle and took a sip.

Quicksilver shook his own bottle in disbelief.

"Wait—can you make money too?"

"Of course."

George flipped his hand again, and a thick wad of dollar bills appeared.

"Gold, diamonds—anything at all."

"That's incredible!"

Quicksilver's face shone with envy.

His speed was unmatched; he could rob an entire bank's vault of cash without anyone noticing. But that was illegal, and his mother had already had to pay back money for his past thefts.

George's power, however, was different. He could create anything he wanted, whenever he wanted. That was the ultimate dream ability.

"George, do you have a girlfriend?"

Quicksilver slung his arm over George's shoulder, grinning with enthusiasm.

This was a friend he was determined to keep.

"In this world? Not yet."

George's expression turned wary.

"Just so you know—I don't swing that way!"

"Relax, I don't either. I've got a sister. She's gorgeous, and she doesn't have a boyfriend yet. Want me to introduce you?"

Quicksilver gave him a knowing look.

"Your sister? Is she even old enough?"

George arched a brow. He remembered that in Days of Future Past, Quicksilver's sister looked only about five or six years old. Ten years later, she'd be at most fifteen or sixteen.

Was Quicksilver seriously trying to play matchmaker already?

"I've got two sisters. The younger one isn't of age yet, but my twin sister—she's just a few minutes younger than me."

As they walked deeper into the school, Quicksilver explained with a grin.

"A few minutes younger? No way…"

George stiffened.

"What's her name?"

"Wanda Maximoff," Quicksilver answered.

His twin sister was also a mutant, born with telekinetic powers.

But because her abilities sometimes went out of control and had hurt people in the past, she grew up insecure and withdrawn.

Though beautiful, she still had no boyfriend, even now that she was working.

Quicksilver thought George seemed like a good match—friendly at first sight, also a mutant, and easy to get along with. Best of all, George could conjure anything, which meant Quicksilver could ask him for things guilt-free.

"So it really is the Scarlet Witch!"

George looked surprised. He hadn't expected Quicksilver to have a twin sister in this world, and for her to be Wanda, no less.

But in many Marvel universes, it was indeed established that Quicksilver and Wanda were Magneto's children.

"Well, that's not a bad thing."

George's eyes glinted, and a faint smile crept across his lips.

He had intentionally left his thought-projection at the school to make contact with Jean Grey, the Phoenix.

In the Marvel universe, there were three primeval cosmic forces, each capable of reaching multiversal levels when fully unleashed.

The first was the Phoenix Force—the hidden power within Jean. Though not yet complete, even a fraction of it could easily crush Apocalypse, who was at the level of a sky-father.

The second was Chaos Magic, originating from the Elder God Chthon, the greatest of the dark gods and a multiversal peak-tier being.

Scarlet Witch Wanda's powers stemmed directly from Chthon's Chaos Magic.

The third was the Fairy Force, a sentient energy that roamed the multiverse, devouring everything it encountered.

George's primary goal upon entering this universe was to use Apocalypse to enhance his mutant powers—a goal he had already achieved. His next step was to see if he could fully absorb Apocalypse's abilities for himself.

His secondary objective was to test his newly acquired Six Paths Thief technique—perhaps even to steal a fragment of Jean's Phoenix Force.

If he could consume that Phoenix energy, it would be an immense boon.

Though Jean's Phoenix Force was only a shard, its energy level was still extraordinarily high.

Even a partial eruption of her Phoenix power could reach the level of a universe-class entity.

If he managed to absorb and digest it completely, his true body would ascend to that same universe-class tier.

And now, it wasn't just Jean with the Phoenix Force. Wanda with her Chaos Magic had entered the picture as well.

This meant he now had the chance to gain not only the Phoenix Force but also Chaos Magic.

Of course, with his beginner-level Six Paths Thief technique, swallowing such advanced energy would be extremely difficult.

But no matter—time was on his side. He had already decided to remain in this universe a while longer, carefully developing his power.

As long as the Time Variance Authority didn't come knocking, there was nothing to worry about. Professor X and the others could manage the school just fine.
