"Apparition!"

After instructing the awakened ship to activate the magical barrier, George teleported into the sky above the planet using Apparition. In a flash, he transformed, activating his Animagus ability to take on the form of a massive dragon.

"Maximize!"

Using Giant Magic to its limits, his 500-meter-long dragon form rapidly expanded, growing until it reached an enormous 7,000 meters in length before finally stopping.

Over time, his Giant Magic had not stagnated. During his stay in the Cardcaptor Sakura world, he had studied the "Big" card and integrated new magical concepts, significantly enhancing the effect.

This dramatic entrance wasn't just the result of rage at the massacre he'd witnessed. As a wizard, his rationality always took precedence—even in moments of anger, he never allowed emotion to cloud his judgment.

In truth, Star-Lord's plan was excellent: having Gamora use the Cosmic Cube to lure out Thanos and Ronan, then striking to take them out quickly—cutting off the head to defeat the snake.

That approach could have resolved the situation efficiently and secured two of the most advanced warships in the galaxy along with a fleet of ships, achieving maximum profit with minimal effort.

But that wasn't the outcome George desired.

With the Repair Charm at his disposal, he could obliterate every ship and warcraft on the battlefield and still restore them all to pristine condition. He had no concern about post-battle losses.

As for Thanos, who currently possessed only the Mind Stone—George didn't consider him a real threat.

Thanos wielding all six Infinity Stones was indeed formidable. But with just the Mind Stone, aside from physical strength and close-combat prowess, Thanos was, in George's eyes, just a walking target.

And Ronan? Not even worth worrying about.

That's why, with absolute confidence, George chose to directly and overwhelmingly crush Thanos and Ronan's forces with unmatched power—so that the major empires and powers of the galaxy would recognize his true strength.

If he had gone with Star-Lord's plan, even if they succeeded in killing Thanos and Ronan, others would simply assume it had been done through trickery. They might praise George's individual power, but would never believe he could rival the might of an entire fleet.

But if he annihilated both fleets head-on, from beginning to end, in an open and overpowering display—then it would send a message: that he alone was stronger than Thanos and Ronan's combined forces.

Only then would the galaxy truly fear him.

This wasn't just about vengeance—it was preparation. A necessary show of strength to smooth Earth's entry into the interstellar age and upcoming contact with the Nova Empire.

In the movies, the Nova Empire appeared civilized and friendly. But in reality, any power that held territory in space wasn't built on kindness alone. Thinking they'd be genuinely benevolent would be naïve.

If George didn't display enough deterrent force, who knew how many schemes and problems would arise once Earth entered the galactic stage?

That's why he chose to enter the scene this aggressively—and to fight this battle head-on.

"What the hell is that?!"

A 7,000-meter-long dragon had suddenly appeared in the sky, nearly rivaling the size of the Dark Aster. Naturally, it instantly drew the attention of everyone below.

Including Thanos and Ronan, who were meeting on the battlefield.

Ronan had followed Thanos's orders, crushed the planet's defenses, and massacred half the population to prove his loyalty. Only then had the two begun negotiating their alliance.

Thanos, with far greater power and influence than Ronan, sat loftily on his floating throne during the talks, looking down with superiority. Ronan stood below, clutching his mighty Kree warhammer.

"Thanos, I've fulfilled all your conditions. Isn't it time we discuss the specifics of our cooperation?"

"Kree, I'll admit you've shown some strength. I'll hear what you have to say," Thanos replied coldly, looking down at him with a slight smirk.

To Thanos, Ronan resembled nothing more than a rebellious youth frustrated with his own empire—immature and idealistic. Still, he had his uses and some strength.

That was the only reason Thanos had come in person.

"My request is simple: we join forces to take the capital of the Nova Empire—Xandar. We slaughter every Xandarian, and when it's done, I become the new king of the Kree Empire—not that so-called Supreme Intelligence!"

Ronan's eyes burned with passion as he raised his Kree warhammer high.

As one of the most powerful commanders in the Kree Empire, he could no longer tolerate the empire being ruled by an artificial intelligence devoid of honor or shame.

Especially because his entire family had been killed in the war against the Nova Empire, and now the Supreme Intelligence dared to suggest peace talks with them.

Once he captured the Nova Empire's capital, the remaining noble families and commanders would inevitably rally behind him. He would become the true ruler of the Kree Empire—and lead it to unify the entire universe.

"Helping you conquer Xandar means little to me. But what do I gain from it?"

Thanos's voice carried a hint of scorn as he responded to Ronan's bold proclamation, a glimmer of disdain flashing in his eyes.

Ronan, prepared for this, immediately pulled out the grand promise he had been saving:

"Once I become king of the Empire, I'll give you half the planets of the Nova Empire. You can slaughter them all if you wish!"

"Tch."

Thanos sneered, the corners of his lips curling in contempt.

"I have no interest in that. You help me find the Orb—that's it. In return, I'll help you conquer Xandar. That's our deal."

To him, Ronan's petty ambitions were utterly insignificant when compared to his own grand design.

Half the Nova Empire's planets?

He didn't want half of anything.

He wanted all six Infinity Stones.

And with a single snap of his fingers, he would erase half of all life in the universe—to restore cosmic balance.

"Fine. I'll help you find the Orb."

Though Ronan was seething inside at Thanos's dismissiveness, he had no choice. He needed Thanos's power. For now, he had to hold back his fury and agree.

But in his heart, he vowed: the moment he unified the Empire, his first act would be to eliminate this arrogant madman.

"Father, Gamora's ship has arrived."

At that moment, Nebula—her blue skin gleaming with cybernetic implants—walked up and informed him calmly.

Hearing that his adoptive daughter Gamora had arrived, a rare smile of satisfaction crept across Thanos's face.

He raised his head to the sky and saw it clearly: a massive Ravager-class mothership was slowly descending, the insignia of the Ravagers clearly marked on its hull.

"My dearest daughter Gamora… you never disappoint me."

But the next second, a colossal dragon suddenly appeared in the sky—stopping everyone dead in their tracks.

"Gather now! You river of light led by the fairies! Shine forth! Tear through evil with your radiant fang—Fairy Radiance!"

Transformed into his dragon form, George didn't attack Thanos and Ronan directly. Instead, he unleashed the newly mastered super spell—Fairy Radiance—aimed straight at Sanctuary II.

Crippling their escape route came first.

Once the ship was grounded, he could take his time dismantling the rest.
