Even with the Desolate Third Epoch underway and the Chaotic Sea calamity erupting, there were still several major projects that had not come to a halt.
The first was the campaign against the Heavenly Moisture Wilderness; only the nine top Ancient Paths had temporarily closed themselves to low‑level Cultivators.
The second was the joint screening conducted by the Empire and the Primordial Heavenly Palace—regarding cultivation of the Eating Tribulation Technique.
The Eating Tribulation Technique was obtained by Zhao Xing from the Void Ancestor Divine Bone in the Transmission Building. At first he acquired only a fragment, which was later completed by both sides.
This Divine‑level Secret Technique was shared between the Empire and the Primordial Heavenly Palace, to be cultivated by screened prodigies suited to it.
Five Poison had once said that in the first batch of those selected, Du Yun was the one cultivating the Eating Tribulation Technique fastest.
