The bandits who live by plundering others have long had their consciences devoured by dogs. If they saw someone like Beluti traveling alone, their first thought would surely be to capture her and indulge in her wonderful flesh, rather than repent and turn to the light.
Unless, Beluti could "see" her own misfortune in the presence of these individuals and choose to avoid them.
In other words, the reason Beluti is not attacked by monsters is because she uses her ability to foresee disasters to narrowly avoid encounters with them.
As for those bandits, the reason they don't harm her is because Beluti doesn't see herself meeting a tragic future in front of them. She knows they're not so thoroughly wicked, which leads her to advise them, successfully persuading them in the end.
After all, some bandits didn't become bandits by choice.
