Qingming Dingxi City, a sea of people gathered on the square before the City Lord Mansion, and Bao Yun was presiding over the renaming ceremony, officially changing Dingxi City to Qingwu City.
Complementing the renaming ceremony was a massive construction project: a high platform was to be built behind the City Lord Mansion, surrounded by expansive palace structures. The central area, spanning several miles, was left vacant, filled with fertile soil, at the center of which a small tree was planted, just about a foot high, with a few new buds sprouting on its branches.
Build a ten-mile high platform, construct continuous palaces; this place was named Phoenix Perch Palace.
By Qingming's current standards, this was a huge project, akin to mobilizing the resources of an entire country, comparable to Zhang Platform and the Canal.
