The two camps of Imperial Army of Eastern Jin received a strange task, being reassigned to the command of the newly appointed General of Cavalry, Li Weisheng.
Upon receiving the order, the two Commanders instantly became overly excited, ordering soldiers to clean inside and outside the camp thoroughly, while personally paying for a feast at Hundred Flavors Building and bringing out their privately stored fine wine, just waiting for Mr. Li to enter the camp for inspection at noon.
The Imperial Army of Eastern Jin is not considered a fine post. Unlike local Camp Soldiers that have large families supporting them, they rely entirely on the court for grains. The court has been terribly poor for hundreds of years, so these Imperial Army soldiers are basically in a state of lacking clothes and showing sallow and emaciated faces.
