The weather today was especially good, and the little grass by the roadside had already sprouted, covering the ground in a layer of light green. How long had it been since they'd last seen the blue sky, the white clouds, the sunshine, and the small grass? In the afternoon, they found a riverside spot, sat for a while, and enjoyed the embrace of nature.
Although time was tight, no one could be sure how long they would live, so while alive, there were some things one shouldn't be stingy about, such as this kind of weather. Perhaps each time you experience it could be the last.
They didn't see a single pedestrian on the road. More than four years into the apocalypse, the living were mostly those who were part of organizations or had a fixed place with resources. During continuous disasters, no one wandered the roads without good reason.
