Sheng Ning'an woke up early in the morning and was momentarily stunned by the blanket on the bed.
There was clearly only one blanket before he went to sleep, but now there were two lying on the bed.
Where did the additional one come from?
Sheng Ning'an thought hard but couldn't remember anything; he only recalled that he drank last night and hazily went to sleep in his room.
As for the extra blanket, he had no recollection.
Could it be that he had drunkenly rummaged through the closet for a spare blanket?
After much deliberation, Sheng Ning'an concluded that this was the only possibility.
He then got up to wash up, and as he left his room, he saw Xu Weiran sitting at the dining table.
Having rested all night, Xu Weiran's complexion shouldn't have looked like this, but he indeed appeared quite unwell.
There was obvious darkness under his eyes.
Could it be due to jet lag that he didn't sleep well last night?
