Before they knew it, the weekend had arrived.
Sheng Ning'an followed Xu Weiran, dragging her suitcase, and the moment she entered the waiting room, she saw a familiar figure.
Sheng Ning'an quickly turned around.
"What's wrong?" Xu Weiran stopped and looked at her suspiciously.
Sheng Ning'an stole a glance behind her and, after making sure she hadn't mistaken the person, lowered her voice and asked Xu Weiran, "Why didn't you tell me my Young Uncle was also going?"
Xu Weiran followed her gaze, immediately understood, and the corners of her lips lifted in a half-smile, "Scared?"
"Who said I'm scared? I haven't done anything wrong," Sheng Ning'an immediately puffed out her chest.
As if she had convinced herself, she then turned back around.
"If you're not scared, then let's go!" Xu Weiran took her hand.
Sheng Ning'an took a deep breath and, after mentally preparing herself, stepped forward, following Xu Weiran towards Sheng Yeli's direction.
