Li Qian stopped in his tracks, and beneath his gentle face, his smile deepened with a hint of coolness, "Do you think I would sell you out?"
"Who knows," Zhao Changsheng scoffed, without stopping her stride.
"How long do you plan to pretend to be confused when you actually understand everything?" Li Qian took a few quick steps forward and grabbed her wrist, his dark eyes narrowing, "Do you really intend to keep pretending that you don't see my feelings for you, or are you just too afraid to admit that you've fallen in love with me?"
The cheerful smile on Zhao Changsheng's face cracked, she jerked her hand away fiercely and said harshly, "Don't flatter yourself, I definitely don't like you."
She walked away quickly, with a panic she didn't even notice herself.
When Su Mo had finished cooking and brought the dishes to the table, Zhao Changsheng came back, looking particularly unwell.
She felt a bit strange and walked over to pinch her face, "What's wrong with you?"
