When he first entered the village, he also sought the reason for its residents' longevity. After some calculations, he realized that the village's blessing lay in this seemingly insignificant wild pond. If his calculations were correct, there should have been an old tortoise with a long lifespan here, borrowing the village's qi to sustain itself, while the tortoise, in turn, protected the village.
