A ring sits on the table; two hours have passed, and time seems to have frozen. Lin Zifeng's eyes are already befuddled, and he can't even lift his eyelids.
Yet, the Star Ring still shows no reaction.
"I say, beloved, where's the stele or writing? I've been staring at this for two hours. There's no phenomenon from the Star Ring at all," Lin Zifeng blinked his dry eyes, having not blinked much in those two hours. Tears almost flowed down, making him begin to wonder if this was an elaborate prank by the Old Buddha.
"!!!" Nangong Bing was dumbfounded too. It was fine before; why is there no reaction from the Star Ring tonight? Nangong Bing was puzzled.
"I..."
"I know." Lin Zifeng smiled mysteriously. Although the Old Buddha couldn't explain, he pretty much guessed something.
"The Star Ring has recognized you as its master. Besides you, probably no one can see those ancient texts," Lin Zifeng said.
