He did a lot for the Ergou Group, but everyone was doing it, too. He didn't expect what he did to be remembered by Chen Ergou. He just hoped Chen Ergou would look at him more often, at least in terms of business, he could help Chen Ergou through his own efforts and share some of the burden.
He turned his head to sniffle, calmed his emotions, then put on the best and most appropriate smile he could muster, turned around, and said to Chen Ergou.
"It's nothing, not just me, everyone is working hard to contribute to the Ergou Group; it's good that you remember me. Thank you, Ergou, thank you for coming back. I've really missed you during this time..."
After saying that, he boldly hugged Chen Ergou and did not wait for Chen Ergou to speak before turning around and heading towards his room.
