"Where's the Sphinx?"
Liu Zheng asked as soon as he entered.
"Its strength hasn't fully recovered yet. Nights are a bit restless, so I've let it stay in the Clinic."
Doctor Nile replied.
"That's good. I was just worried something might happen. Is it sleeping now?"
"I just had it sunbathe, it should be asleep now."
Doctor Nile said.
"Oh, then let's not disturb it."
He nodded.
"With the two of you showing up, I'm the one worried something might happen."
Doctor Nile quipped.
Niu Ma is already capable of causing trouble, and Liu Zheng even more so with his innate troublemaking ability. With these two troublemakers together, he can't even imagine how much the City Hall's workload will increase.
"I never have a time when I'm not causing trouble."
Liu Zheng confessed.
"Well... that's true. So, what brings you here?"
Doctor Nile asked.
The cleaning staff had clocked out, Sasha was asleep, and he couldn't be bothered with hospitality protocols anymore.
