Wen Qiao felt that something was slightly off about Fu Jinghen's statement.
"When someone is with you to watch a horror movie, you are not afraid, but when you get back, you still have to sleep alone. So, I'm staying tonight to keep you company."
"Ah?" Wen Qiao pointed at her feet, "Are you saying, you're staying over at my place tonight?"

Fu Jinghen slid his hands under Wen Qiao's arms and lifted her up; her body reacted faster than her brain, and her legs instinctively wrapped around Fu Jinghen's waist.
Fu Jinghen kicked the apartment door shut with his foot and, holding Wen Qiao, walked over to the sofa and sat down. He looked at the still dazed Wen Qiao and leaned down to kiss her on the corner of her lips. "Don't you want me to stay and keep you company?"
This handsome-man tactic caused Wen Qiao a moment of bewilderment.
"It's not that I don't want..."
"Then I'll stay to keep you company."
Wen Qiao blinked, "But I don't have a guest room here."
