Wen Qiao hopped and skipped her way toward the elevator and, upon looking up, locked eyes with Jiang Yao's leisurely gaze from inside the elevator.
Wen Qiao's steps halted, and she calmed herself, "Waiting for me?"
Jiang Yao's eyebrows arched, "What else?"
"Oh." Wen Qiao nodded, "Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Suddenly, the atmosphere in the elevator slipped into a strange silence. After a while, Jiang Yao suddenly asked, "Made up?"
"Ah?" Wen Qiao was startled and slowly turned around, "How did you know?"
Jiang Yao hissed and half-closed her eyes, tilting her head slightly as if recalling something, "Probably because I happened to see a certain young lady boldly delivering a kiss and guessed from there."
Wen Qiao took it as referring to herself and nodded composedly, "You saw right, that bold young lady was me."
"So, should I start calling you Mrs. Fu again now?"
Wen Qiao's face tilted up slightly, "Whatever you like."
