By the time Jiang Jiu hurried back to Jiang Siyan's house, it was already close to 9 p.m.
Upon opening the door, Jiang Siyan was sitting on the couch, resting Doug on his knees, looking down at a magazine.
The man was dressed in loose home clothes, with that pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his nose, the glasses chain scattered on his neck. Paired with his distinguishably handsome features, he gave off an air of cultured restraint, seemingly untouchable.
Hearing the sound, Jiang Siyan looked up in Jiang Jiu's direction, "You're back."
"Mm, have you eaten?"
Jiang Siyan nodded and stood up, holding Doug, "What about you?"
"I just had a boxed meal with Ruan Yuan on the high-speed train, it was so-so, just enough to fill me up."
Jiang Siyan kissed her cheek, "How many servings?"
Jiang Jiu took Doug from his arms to avoid pressing on Jiang Siyan's hand, "Of course, just one. I still need to maintain some dignity in front of my colleagues."
