Leng Yan smiled, feeling very desolate, "Why are you ignoring me? Am I really that detestable to you? Xia Nuo, do you know, my heart aches so much, it feels unbearable..."
Xia Nuo sat up; she could tell he was drunk.
"Where are you?" Without thinking, she asked.
After asking, she regretted it. It was too easy for her to feel sorry for him; she was too spineless.
Leng Yan slurred out an address, and Xia Nuo hung up the phone and changed her clothes. When she drove to the bar Leng Yan had mentioned, she saw the girl she had seen last time supporting Leng Yan as they walked out.
Leng Yan's arm was draped over her shoulder, the girl struggling to support him while speaking words of concern: "Leng Yan brother, don't come drinking again, it's so uncomfortable to get drunk. If your grandfather knew about this, he would be worried about you."
Leng Yan shook his head, looking around; he hadn't forgotten that Xia Nuo had said she would come to pick him up.
