Chapter 286 - Ch.286 I'm The One Who Kidnapped Wonder Woman!

Whizz~

As the woman in dark golden armor hurled her spear, the fierce wind howled, and the tree trunk beside Charlie was pierced through with tremendous force.

Pfft!!

A scream rang out as the red figure hiding behind the trunk clutched a bloody hole in his chest and collapsed, wailing.

"Oh my gosh, I've been stabbed, I'm gonna die! How could this happen? I just used my eyes, gifted at spotting beauty, to see the most wonderful thing in the world! Why are they doing this to me?! No, God, please save my body, save my kindness! These girls are too brutal, I wanna go home!!"

Watching Wade's exaggerated performance, Charlie rubbed his chin, sizing him up.

"Long time no see. You're swearing less," he said.

Wade turned his head, the whites of his eyes expanding dramatically.

"Whoa, it's Spider-Man! You're not in your suit, I almost didn't recognize you."

Charlie's face darkened. "You've gotten funnier, congrats. But that kind of joke doesn't work on me."

Wade lay on his side, letting the hole in his chest heal on its own.

"I know, but those women are brutal. I can't use that kind of joke on them."

"Then do you know the consequences of annoying Spider-Man?"

"Of course, but I bet you won't get mad over something like this. You know I love you the most."

Wade said, then glanced at the group of female warriors closing in. "Of course, I could love them too."

The moment he finished, the lead warrior's face turned cold. She stomped on the wound in Wade's chest, grinding her foot down.

"Oh no!! Ow, ow, ow, it hurts!!"

Wade clutched her foot, screaming dramatically while also "grinding" back.

Charlie let out an ugh, instinctively stepping back, only to feel a spear pressed against his lower back.

"Don't move, or my weapon will pierce you," a young warrior said, her brows furrowed, her tone serious.

Charlie raised his hands obediently. "Whoa, that spot's pretty important to me. Without it, I'd be a walking corpse, unable to bring happiness to nine billion cosmic girls."

"What are you talking about?" Diana frowned, not understanding Charlie's words.

Before Charlie could explain, Antiope, still stepping on Wade, turned to Diana. "Don't trust a man's words. Make him shut up."

Diana nodded, reaching for a rag to stuff in Charlie's mouth.

But Charlie was faster.

Whizz~

In a blur of motion, Charlie flashed behind Diana, his hand locking around her throat.

"Don't come closer, or I'll heh heh her!"

Charlie's shout made the warriors' faces change.

Antiope glared at him. "Release Diana now! Do you know who she is?"

As soon as she spoke, Charlie flicked a small stone, hitting her right between the eyes.

Crack~

As the feeble stone fell to the ground, Antiope touched her forehead, bewildered.

"What was that?" she asked.

Charlie shrugged. "Just playing a meme."

"Damnable man."

Furious, Antiope ordered Wade bound, then pointed her spear at Charlie.

"You're holding the daughter of the Amazon Queen, our Princess, whose status is far beyond what a filthy man like you can touch. You have three seconds."

"Princess, huh?"

Charlie's eyes lit up. "Thanks for the reminder. As it happens, I'm known as the Spider-Prince.

You get it—who in this world is a better match for her than me?"

"Wait."

Wade raised a hand, interrupting Charlie. "I'm also known as the Dual-Blade Immortal Prince. I could match too."

"Go die!"

Antiope, seething, stabbed her spear into Wade's body again, eliciting a blood-curdling scream.

Charlie ignored Wade's plight. The guy loved this kind of rough treatment from middle-aged women.

He'd let Wade have his fun.

Through this, Charlie realized where his "spawn point" was.

Paradise Island, the sanctuary of the Amazons.

The young warrior in his grasp was none other than the future Wonder Woman, Diana.

A five-thousand-year-old, innocent girl with Zeus's bloodline.

Five thousand years old—how thrilling! Lost in thought, Charlie held Diana and slowly backed away.

Antiope gripped her spear tightly, ready to rescue the Princess.

From the man's earlier display, she could tell he was fast, but his strength was unknown.

Still, she was certain he couldn't breach Diana's defenses.

Diana, with Zeus's demigod blood, couldn't possibly be harmed by a human, even one with speed-based powers.

But before she could think further, Diana's eyes flickered, and she counterattacked.

Trained by Antiope since childhood, she was confident in her abilities.

She grabbed Charlie's wrist, flipped over, and clamped her legs around his neck, attempting to subdue him with her deadly scissor-kick, honed over thousands of years.

Unfortunately, she underestimated him.

Whoosh~

A breeze passed, and Diana found herself hanging upside down on Charlie, unable to budge him no matter how hard she tried.

Diana: "..."

Antiope: "..."

Charlie: "..."

He glanced down at something he shouldn't have seen, then blinked.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

Diana's face flushed red. Despite using all her strength, she couldn't move Charlie an inch.

"I… I'm dancing."

It was a flimsy excuse to cover her embarrassment.

Charlie appreciated it.

He gave a thumbs-up, grinning. "You're funnier than I expected."

With that, he lifted Diana back up, keeping his fingers around her throat.

Facing a stunned Antiope, Charlie smirked. "General, can you back off now?"

"You…"

Realizing this man wasn't the weakling she'd assumed, Antiope abandoned her earlier plan.

With strength even a demigod couldn't resist, she was no match.

Even with her soldiers, it was the same.

Who was this guy?

With that question, Antiope raised a hand, signaling her soldiers to retreat slowly.

"I can release your friend, but you know my terms," she said.

Charlie shook his head. "I'm not planning to save him."

Wade: "!!!!"

"No, Spider-Man, save me! Save me!!"

Wade clutched his face, sobbing. "Have you forgotten? The girls we chased together, the rain we walked through, the action movies we watched, the peeping we—"

"Shut him up, please, thanks," Charlie shouted, his face darkening.

He hadn't done any of that!!

Diana, in his arms, stirred slightly, whispering, "Who did you peep on?" Her face was full of curiosity.

Charlie snorted. "That's not something kids should know—wait, I didn't do that!"

Diana nodded thoughtfully. "Oh~ I get it, I get it."

Charlie gritted his teeth. "What's that look? You don't believe me?"

"I believe you, I believe you."

"No, you don't."

"Fine, I don't."

"No, you have to believe me."

"But I don't…"

"Shut up, captive."

Charlie covered her mouth with one hand, then drew a circle with the other, trying to open a portal to leave.

Buzz~

Magic sparks flickered briefly before fizzling out.

Charlie's mouth twitched.

Even with enough magical energy from devouring spells to use magic in the DC Universe, Paradise Island was under Zeus's divine power, which blocked teleportation!

Well, damn. Was this forcing the invincible Spider-Man to conquer the island?

With that thought, Charlie's gaze sharpened. Magical energy surged, whipping up a storm around him. Stellar energy he'd absorbed erupted, his radiant figure like a god descending.

No, wait. He needed to play the demon now.

Charlie reconsidered, retracting the magic. A black-and-red spider scuttled from the void, landing on his shoulder.

Chitter chitter chitter~

Splurt!

As the spider bit, black liquid enveloped him. Menacing demonic horns gleamed with chilling light, and the blood-red spider emblem radiated evil power, shocking everyone present.

"What!"

"That's… a demon's aura!"

"Such terrifying power."

"No, it's not a demon… it's the aura of death…"

"Could it be Hades?"

"No…"

Instantly, Antiope and the others paled. Diana's eyes widened, a chill running down her spine.

Raised on Paradise Island, she'd never encountered such a terrifying being.

As Charlie prepared to break Zeus's seal, the clear sky darkened with clouds. An infinite shadow cloaked the heavens, and six godly eyes shone like stars in the cosmos.

The Amazon Queen, rushing to the scene, looked up at the six godly eyes, her expression horrified.

"What strange divine power… What is he trying to do?"

At that moment, Peter Parkers worldwide gazed up at the six godly eyes, exclaiming in shock.

"Oh my gosh, what's that?"

"Gods! Heavenly gods!"

"A new god among the contestants!!"

"What's he planning?"

"Oh no! His hand's breaking through the atmosphere!!"

"He's going to destroy Earth!!"

"His mission is to destroy the world!!"

"No!! We're up against this kind of enemy? Impossible…"

"Look, what's that!!"

"Spider-Man!"

"It's Spider-Man!"

"Supreme Peter!"

Buzz~

Magic light spread across the sky, endless magical webbing forming a giant net to ensnare the massive hand descending from above.

But Supreme Peter's power was too weak to match a god.

Boom!!

The sky shuddered as the giant hand easily broke through the net, pressing down.

"Damn it, die!"

Rumble!!

Thunder roared as a vortex of dark clouds unleashed an unstoppable figure.

Thunder God Peter raised Mjolnir, twisting the void with endless lightning as he charged the giant hand.

Simultaneously, a radiant beam shot from the sea. Captain Marvel Carol unleashed her cosmic energy, a blazing meteor crashing toward the hand.

Last time on Krypton, unable to absorb stellar power, she was too weak to complete the Resurrection Match.

This time, she had to win!!

Boom!!

Thunder and cosmic energy collided with the hand, triggering a massive explosion. The earth quaked, volcanoes erupted, and tsunamis rose thousands of meters.

Yet even this fearsome power couldn't stop a single hand.

Boom!!

The next second, thunder and cosmic energy were hurled back into the sea, the giant hand pressing on.

In this war-torn era, true darkness and despair descended.

On the battlefield, countless soldiers gazed at the godlike hand.

They slowly lowered their weapons, their exhaustion fading.

At that moment, fear of death and the unknown future didn't matter.

Victory or defeat didn't matter.

The hand's appearance rendered everything meaningless.

Human wars were child's play.

Legends said gods could erase it all effortlessly.

Was this divine punishment? Perhaps.

The overwhelming pressure from the god left everyone in despair.

They had no will to resist.

All efforts were futile.

They watched as red-and-blue "gods" charged the hand, only to fail.

No one could stop a god's apocalypse! Not even other gods.

In a corner of the battlefield, a man craving war felt his power growing at an unimaginable rate.

Gazing at the boundless godly hand, he grew frenzied.

"Hahaha, this is true war! Human conflicts can't compare to wars among gods! Destroy! Fight!

The crueler the war, the stronger I become!!"

To Ares, the god of war, as long as conflict raged, his power grew infinitely.

Now, this "divine" war sparked by the god gave him hope of surpassing Zeus.

No, if it continued, he could outstrip Zeus entirely!

But his grin soon froze.

Someone ended the "gods'" war in an instant.

Hum!!

From an island sealed in history, a blood-red sword light erupted, shaking the heavens.

The black Spider-Man tore through everything, the Black Death Sword's edge shredding all despair and fear.

Destruction to destroy destruction! Rip!

Boom!!

Under the astonished gazes of countless Peter Parkers, the blood-red sword light effortlessly sliced through the giant hand. A scream echoed through the galaxy.

"No!! Spi~der~Man~"

Splurt splurt splurt~~

The six godly eyes flickered rapidly. The newborn god stared in terror as the blood-red light pierced his arm and entered his body.

Under the shadow of death, he recalled the fear of being dominated by the Black Death Sword.

Why… why was this guy here?!

So… What was this guy's name? Peter? Wade? Carol? Or Charlie?

That was the newborn god's final thought before oblivion.
