Aiko, Lefn, Leon, and his squad ran toward the village. The chief saw them coming in urgency and asked, "What's wrong? Where is Luca?"
Aiko's eyes welled up in tears as she stuttered, "W-we don't know."
The chief's face turned grave. "What do you mean you don't know? Where is Luca?
With a sad expression, Lefn explained, "We were abducted by this Naxon. It had intelligence, and it was strong. It was using some kind of teleportation power. When we woke up, Luca was nowhere to be found, and we were on the Dark Continent."
The chief's eyes went wide in surprise. "The Dark Continent? That's where the Naxon took you?
Leon stepped forward, trying to keep his composure. "Yes, and we got out-of-there courtesy of. some guy being trapped down there. He saved our lives."
The chief was curious now. "Some guy? What was his name?"
Leon did not want to say too much. "We don't know. but he was powerful. With his helping us and the strength of my friends, we got out unscathed."
