His thoughts ran back to the people and conversations he had yesterday. The elder, Jolthar, talked to him the longest, and he had quite a lot of insights into the gods, which helped Jolthar learn about the existence of the ascension.
And his son, Vareth, was nowhere to be seen after the battle. Vareth congratulated Jolthar and left simply. The last time he saw him, Vareth didn't look angry.
Unlike Vareth, the other elves no longer looked at him as an outsider. He was no longer "the human boy." He was Jolthar of Ael'koryna, and they had drunk, sung, and laughed with him like brothers.
