Remmeddi's Point Of View
I felt a soft, warm, heavy weight on my chest, and abruptly opened my eyes fearfully. My body was no longer in an indescribable amount of pain, but conversely, my movements were alarmingly lethargic, and my body felt uncomfortably heavy.
As I gazed down at my chest, I became even more unsettled about my current predicament. There was a large animal resting its head on my chest, and my surroundings were completely unknown to me.
As I wracked my brain, attempting to remember exactly how I got here, I became unreasonably terrified, as I realized that I couldn't remember anything that had happened, once I fled from the facility.
"Are you awake now?" I heard a deep, gentle voice, echo from somewhere inside the room.
Before I could reply to the unknown voice, the beast resting atop me, lifted it's head, and growled low in response, instead.
