I let out a groan as I pulled my arm back over to my side, I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes, I looked at the time.
The clock red 6:30 am.
I got a notification on my phone and checked it. It was Lisa...
Hey Darling... I know you wake up early so I decided to get up around the same time too.
I'm gonna come over and walk to school with you ok? Be ready. I should be over in thirty minutes... Btw I'm super hungry and I don't wanna get food from Wawa. Can you cook me something? It's still early so we can have breakfast together... Please?
She sent me an emoji with puppy dog eyes...
I could imagine her actually giving me them in real life, it's been roughly a month or so sense we started dating, and I've noticed she knows exactly how to get something out of me. Usually by acting cute.

I sighed and smiled.
Sure... I just need to get ready first. I literally just woke up ten seconds ago.

I smiled again and sed

I got up and stretched and quickly did a few pushups and sit ups and went to shower and put on a black T-shirt and black jeans.
I really miss the protagonist fit but. What's a guy to do.
After coming out I went downstairs and looked in the fridge and pulled out eggs and chicken and a few spices as well as basil and a little cheese.
I began cooking while humming, twenty minutes past and suddenly a knock came to my door.
Knock! Knock!
I went to answer, and there in dim morning light was my angel. "Hiya handsome."
I smiled a little and let her in.
"Hey lisa..."
She came in, she was wearing red sweater vest with a dress shirt and a black tie underneath with a black skirt and white thigh highs and her signature headband, she walked in and took off her slippers and sat then next to my old beat up chuck Taylor's.
"Are those the only other shoes you have? I mean I know you have one pair of loafers or whatever... "
I shrugged and leaned against the wall crossing my arms. "I have those two and a pair of work boots a bought for my new job."
She looked up at me and smiled.
"Oh yeah, your working for that paving company right?"
"Yeah... "
I had found a small family owned asphalt paving company when they were paving a parking lot next door to my townhouse, I walked over to them and asked them if they needed help, and turns out one of there guys walked off on them right in the middle of the job, so they let me help them and I spent my entire Saturday two weeks ago shoveling blacktop... They gave me three hundred and fifty bucks. So I guess it wasn't that bad.
And so I've been working with them after school about three days a week, the boss lives just outside town so I can get there fast.
"It's pretty alright... Though my shoulders been killing me from all the work."
She walked over and rubbed my shoulders.
"Aww... My good boy is all tired and weak from working all day yesterday~" she teased.
I blushed and stepped away.
"Don't call me that!... D-Dummy."
"Hehe. You love it, you know it, Now is breakfast ready?"
"Yeah. I just made it, it's still warm... "
"Good. Btw if and when we get married you can be a house husband if you want."
She walked ahead of me and looked back at me teasingly. "You won't have to break your back at all sweetie, after all I'm a rich girl."
"Nope. I wish to toil."
I followed her.
"Such a stubborn boy I have... "
She took a seat.
"But I get it.. ehehe~ you want me to be the housewife huh? I mean I'll admit it I do look sexy in an apron no?"
I let out a chuckle as I walked into the kitchen then gatherd up the eggs with cheese and grilled chicken and put them on a plate.
"Maybe."
"Maybe? Darling your supposed to say I look good in anything."
I walked over and gave the plate to her.
"Hm... No."
"No?" She pouted.
"Come on! Give me a compliment! Give me a compliment!"
I went and gathered up my food.
"Nope."
I brought my food over and grabbed two glaces and orange juice and sat down and poured them for us.
I began to eat a peice of chicken...
I looked up and Lisa was just pouting, not touching her food at all.
"What?"
"Mmm... " She turned her head.
"Hmph-!"
"What is it?"
"What do you think?"
God she's so needy...
I smiled and got up from my seat and turned her head and kissed her cheek, she blushed.
"Your the most beautiful girl in the world and you look amazing in anything... There, you happy silly girl?"
She smiled.
"I am. Ehehe~ I have you rapped around my finger don't I?"
"Oh shut up." I walked over and sat down began eating again and she joined in.
After a few seconds I got another knock on the door. "?"
"Who's that?"
I shrugged and got up.
"I'll go see."
I walked out to the living room and answered the door. "Yo! I smell eggs in there!"
"Mikoto?" She walked in passed me without even letting me step aside. "How rude."
I walked after her. "Sense when do you get up this early?" She smiled and walked passed the table ignoring Lisa and went straight for the milk in the fridge and pulled out the almond milk and chugged it down.
'im gonna have to throw that away now.'
"Burp!..."
She grabbed a plate from the closet. "I just wanted to check up on you, and also get a free meal outa' ya as always."
"... So you admit your a free loader."
She starred at me a few seconds and grapped a roll of paper towels and hit me over the head with it. "Ow! Hey!"
"That's what you get for being a smart mouth!"
"Um... Excuse me."
Lisa had been watching us the whole time.
"Jack who is this woman?"
Mikoto blinked a few times.
"I can ask the same thing."
"You two don't recognize each other?"
They shook there heads.
"Well mikoto this is Lisa... My... girlfriend."
"Your... GIRLFRIEND?!?!"
suddenly she grabbed my two cheeks.
"JACK WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU GOT A GIRLFRIEND AND-"
She looked at her for a few seconds... Still pinching my cheeks, it was starting to hurt.
"Mikoto! Stop!"
"Are you little Lisa elwood? The girl who used to play with Jack as a kid?"
Lisa gave a nod. Meanwhile I was still trying to pull away. "Please let me go!"
"And who are you?"
"Oh you don't remember me but I'm mikoto Tanaka, I'm jacks mom's best friend and legal guardian. It's nice to see you again even though you don't remember me. And it took Jack long enough to ask you out, he's been crushing on you for years hehe~"
God it felt like my cheeks were gonna fall off.
"Mikoto!"
"That's aunt mikoto."
She didn't let go.
"Did you say your his legal guardian?"
"That's right. Jacks mom and dad have been away for a while and Ive been given custody over him. But I live in an apartment downtown while he lives here... "
"Wait Jack, I know you sed your mom and dad were out of town but you never told me they were gone... Where are they anyway and how long have they been gone."
In a muffled voice I managed to get out.
"Africa... They've been gone seven years."
"Seven years?!" She stood up.
"So you've been living all by yourself in this townhouse for almost a decade!"
Mikoto spoke up.
"He wasn't by himself all the time. He had a his grandpa until he passed and he has me now."
"And wait- YOU DIDN'T TELL HER YOU LIVE HERE BY YOURSELF!"
"I didn't think it was that big a deal."
She pinched my cheeks harder.
"Ack!"
"IT IS A BIG DEAL SHE'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO KEEP SECRETS FROM HER!!!!"
"OHHHH! GIVE ME A BREAK!"*
