Monday morning rolled around, after all that happened that day, I was glad to be away from undertowns, and I was even more relieved to know that I wouldn't be going back for a long time, however...
Billy once he heard of what happened wasn't so pleased, he scolded Lisa for bringing me there in the first place, that and he was also mad at me for some reason, I wasn't sure why though, regardless of what happened I'd say I enjoyed my first date with Lisa inspite of all that happened.
When lunch rolled around me and Logan decided to have lunch in our usual spot, Lisa was having lunch with the student council, but we agreed to meet up after school to go to training.
"you and Lisa went on a date!?"
Logan exclaimed as he sat next to me on the bench in the schools courtyard.
"Yeah, we did."
I smiled awkwardly.
He gave me the kinda look that you give a friend when he wins the lottery and doesn't tell you until a month later."You could have told me bro."
I let out a sigh and took a sip of my unsweetened tea as the sun beat down on us, the school had planted a tree behind us, however the idiots who put the bench here decided it was a good idea to put it just outside of the shade of the massive oak behind us. "Yeah. I know... Sorry. I guess I just thought it come up eventually anyway, you know me. I try not to make a big deal out of these things."
He gave a nod.
"Yeah, it's alright... But I guess that plan of your's worked, going to church with her was the right way to go huh?" He grinned.
"Geez' man I'm not some creep, and I'm a Christian too. I'd go to church regardless of whether or not she'd go."
"Yeah? Well, it's funny you weren't going before." He sed point blank.
"I have my reasons."
He leaned back and stretched his arms up and relaxed with his palms on the back of his head. "Yeah, yeah, I'm not religious so it's not that big a deal to me, but at least you two are dating now."
"Well... "
"Well what?"
"It's kinda more then that."
"No way... Did you lose your v-card!"
"What!? No!!"
"Then what?"
I rubbed the space between my eyebrows in frustration.
"Look, we... We're, kinda... Already official."
"Wait, what?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Like After one date?"
"Yeah... Apparently she's been crushing on me for a while... And well... It's weird I know, but she just sorta'... 'Claimed me'. I guess."
"... I knew she was a yandere... Is she a yandere?"
He sed expressionless.
"No she is not!!"
He raised up his hands and grinned in a mock surrender. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm just teasing, one date and a sudden "claim" and your already whipped huh?"
I let out an exasperated huff and rolled my eye's. "Dude, shut the hell up."
"Whatever." He chuckled.
"So... Wanna hang out after school?"
"Nah, I have to head to church, me and my pastor have some business to discuss... "
"Oh come on. I wanted you to go to the mall with me, it's been a while sense we last hung out."
"Sorry, God comes first man."
He leaned forward with a disappointed look on his face. "Fine, I get it.. but you know, you've been so secretive lately. I'm starting to worry about you. Is something up?_
That's Logan for ya. Always looking out for me, he's a real friend, i know I haven't been hanging out with him a lot.
But with all the church stuff, and my new relationship with Lisa, I've been so busy,I need to make time for him, that's for sure.
But right now I gotta actually deture his suspension's. "Don't worry man, I promise nothing bad is going on. If something bad was happening you'd be the first to know, ok?"
His eyes narrowed as he tried to read my face, but then he simply gave a nod.
"Alright... "
And so we sat there a little while longer and had lunch together.
