Chapter 191 - Chapter 191: Swallowing the Bait

Chapter 191: Swallowing the Bait

Brown's face changed slightly as he forced himself to calm down, shouting at the top of his lungs:

"Everyone, form up and charge forward!"

Standing next to him, Hawk emitted a faint golden glow, amplifying Brown's words throughout the entire camp.

Command Aura!

This provided all allied units within a 50-meter radius with buffs: Morale +1, Calmness +1, and Movement Speed +2!

The previously chaotic soldiers seemed to regain their backbone, charging forward while aligning their formation under Brown and Hawk's command.

This was the strength of a high-level knight!

With his individual power, he provided a strong boost, stabilizing a nearly collapsed situation!

Positioned at the front, Angela, her face solemn, observed the advancing enemy, ordering the archers to cease firing. Drawing her longsword, she shouted under a glowing aura:

"Charge!"

The shield-bearing soldiers, holding their spears above their shields, began marching forward in unison with thunderous steps.

At the same time, a golden glow enveloped each soldier.

This made their already strong bodies even more agile and powerful.

Inspiring Aura!

As the two armies were about to collide,

A burly figure suddenly burst forth from behind the soldiers of Bay Territory.

Dressed in heavy steel armor, wielding two menacing axes, this figure exuded a murderous aura.

Like a massive hammer, Beelzebub slammed into the Carlisle soldiers' line, causing panic.

With a loud crash, four or five soldiers were sent flying, creating a massive breach in their freshly formed line.

Standing far taller than most, Beelzebub was like a half-giant, causing immense psychological and physical pressure on the Carlisle soldiers.

As he swung his axes, the entire defense line was torn apart, soldiers scattering everywhere.

Blood splattered across Beelzebub's armor, making him appear even more terrifying.

His eyes were bloodshot, his heart racing with adrenaline, yet his mind remained calm.

A near-physical aura of blood surrounded Beelzebub, increasing his already terrifying lethality.

Endless Rage!

The more enemies Beelzebub killed, the stronger his power and destructive force grew.

As his body became drenched in blood, forming a horrifying crimson armor, the Carlisle soldiers could no longer hold him back.

"Roar...!"

With a roar, Beelzebub reached his peak state and charged directly toward Brown and Hawk.

Brown's face turned pale as he and Hawk exchanged worried glances, seeing the panic in each other's eyes.

This situation was far from normal!

...

Suddenly standing up, Tres stared intently at two communication scrolls, taking a deep breath before shouting:

"Everyone, gather up!"

His commanding voice echoed throughout the temporary camp.

The already-prepared soldiers quickly assembled.

Despite their rest being interrupted, they showed no signs of frustration, moving with remarkable speed, displaying their discipline.

Especially the knights under Tres's command.

They mounted their warhorses with the quickest efficiency, skillfully pulling out a vial of purification potion to feed to their mounts.

This was a well-trained elite force!

Even Matthew, witnessing this, couldn't help but praise their prowess.

"As expected, their reputation is well-earned. With such elite soldiers, no wonder the Carlisle family has made such a name for themselves."

"Unfortunately for them, they've crossed paths with us..."

Matthew gently stroked Yaya.

Yaya looked up at him expectantly, opening her mouth and letting out a thunderous roar.

"Roar..."

An indescribable pressure surged like a tidal wave toward the newly formed lines of soldiers.

Matthew watched as the soldiers fell into brief chaos, especially the neatly arranged cavalry, who had to soothe their panicking horses.

Yet, these soldiers truly lived up to their reputation as elites.

Despite their pale faces, they stood firm under the pressure of Yaya's level-3 Dragon's Might.

Seeing that he had successfully drawn their attention, Matthew patted Yaya's neck.

She immediately flapped her wings and soared into the sky.

As they left the ground, a dark, thin sword silently stabbed into the spot they had just vacated.

Without a sound, it pierced deeply into the ground, leaving a gaping hole.

Fifth-tier spell — Shadow Arrow!

"Close call!"

Nearly caught off guard, Matthew raised his staff without hesitation, sending a blazing fireball hurtling downward.

The swirling fireball plummeted toward the Carlisle army.

Just as it was about to hit, an invisible light enveloped the fireball.

The fireball trembled, its structure unraveling before it abruptly dispersed.

Kaman, stepping out of the carriage with a smug smile, looked up at the sky and said confidently:

"It's just a mid-level..."

Boom!

The fireball that seemed to be dissipating suddenly exploded!

The fireball erupted in mid-air, expanding into a terrifying mass of flames, lunging toward the soldiers below.

Bang!

The rolling flames collided with an invisible barrier, creating ripples as they crashed against it.

Seventh-tier spell — Heavenly Water Curtain!

One of the most cost-effective high-level defensive spells!

With his face illuminated by the flames, Matthew unhesitatingly raised his staff, conjuring another fireball and hurling it toward the enemy.

Boom!

The terrifying fireball exploded again, spreading across the semi-spherical barrier, its flames surging wildly.

As the flames rolled, an invisible wave of force began to surround Matthew.

He felt an overwhelming pressure, as if his entire body was being bound.

Fifth-tier spell — Hold Person!

As the twisted flames subsided, numerous wide-eyed soldiers and a cloaked Kaman were revealed.

Kaman looked down at his staff, the large blue gem embedded within now marred by painful cracks.

He stared intently at Yaya, who was now circling higher into the sky.

"We can't let them escape!"

Reluctantly, Kaman tore open a black scroll and pointed toward Yaya in the sky without hesitation!

Ninth-tier spell — Gravitational Cage!

A terrifying force pressed down on Yaya, and despite her furious wing beats, she couldn't resist the powerful gravitational pull, falling rapidly toward the ground.

Gritting her teeth in frustration, Yaya opened her mouth and let loose a breath toward the ground.

Watching the gray-brown beam of light descend, Kaman smirked and said in a cold, high-pitched voice:

"You, the bait, are ours for the taking!"
