Chapter 180 - Chapter 180: Bobo's Ambition

Chapter 180: Bobo's Ambition

The sound of "Wuwawa" shouting.

Continuously echoed in the wild marsh.

Bobo, who was far smaller than an average murloc, didn't want to join in, and instead found them very noisy.

Watching the figures moving in front of him, Bobo sulked a bit and opened his mouth, letting out a sharp "Yiya" sound.

The surrounding murlocs heard his voice and quickly quieted down, respectfully lying on the ground, clearly very submissive to him.

The small-bodied Bobo easily hopped onto a giant six-legged swamp crocodile.

This terrifying massive beast had just filled its belly and showed no reaction to Bobo stepping on its head.

Waving a small steel trident, Bobo impatiently knocked on the swamp crocodile's head.

This top predator of the Misty Swamp, known for its ferocity, didn't get angry at all, instead lazily stood up and began crawling forward.

At the same time, the emerald green Bobo opened his mouth, letting out a sharp cry of enjoyment over the fertile land, which to all the murlocs meant the only command:

"Attack, time to eat!"

Watching the murlocs chaotically rush forward, Bobo, sitting cross-legged on the swamp crocodile's head, held his head in frustration.

His round, bulging eyes kept darting around, his sharp gaze landing on the somewhat disorganized transport team.

He noticed many of the big humans were only wearing cloth clothes, not carrying the swords and spears he liked, and immediately felt a bit dissatisfied.

What Bobo didn't expect was that the seemingly chaotic transport team suddenly steadied themselves after a flash of pale golden light.

They formed a circle and forcibly held off the murloc attack.

Bobo immediately perked up, curiously widening his eyes.

Following the source of the light, he spotted a tall, burly human knight.

"Hmm? Knight??"

If anyone heard this, they would be greatly shocked.

Murlocs, long regarded as low-intelligence, beast-like creatures, could actually speak common language!

Having found something interesting, Bobo commanded the other murlocs to encircle them while suppressing the impulsive urges of his subordinates, angrily shouting in his gibberish language:

"You! Fools!"

"Don't go die!"

Clever Bobo knew very well.

No matter how many murlocs there were, unless they went mad at night, no number of them could beat the big humans led by a knight.

Bobo's only idea was to secretly observe the human knight's fighting style to see if he could learn a trick or two.

"Smart Bobo will surely return to the sea one day!"

This great ambition inspired the small murloc to start gesturing with his steel trident.

It must be said that due to the murloc's body shape, Bobo's movements with the trident were somewhat awkward, yet they carried a certain serious grace.

The most interesting thing was that many of the surrounding murlocs were glaring viciously at the somewhat foolish Bobo, but they didn't dare to move.

They seemed to fear the swamp crocodile under Bobo and could only stand there idly.

The battle raged on for nearly an hour.

The scorching sun hung high in the sky, Hawk shook his slightly sore arm, sniffing the fishy smell in the air, and stared in bewilderment at the continuing encirclement of murlocs:

"That's impossible, there are no big rivers or lakes in the Misty Swamp, only patches of puddles, how could such a large murloc population exist?"

The experienced Hawk paused his charge, glanced at the weary soldiers around him, rubbed his temples in confusion, but could only give the order:

"Reserves forward, everyone else fall back, rest for 15 minutes!"

A long-prepared elite force of about 200 soldiers broke through the exhausted ranks.

They were fully armed, wearing fine leather armor, with some even donning shining iron armor.

Their combat prowess was fierce, slashing and hacking, they swiftly slaughtered the hundreds of murlocs surrounding them, leaving behind piles of corpses.

However, before they could retreat, more screeching murlocs rushed out of the mist, charging right into their blades.

These battle-hardened soldiers quickly formed a defensive formation, blocking the murlocs' assault, standing firm no matter how fiercely the murlocs attacked.

Taking this opportunity, Hawk carefully scanned the surroundings, already forming a plan in his mind.

He suddenly stood up, returned to the convoy, mounted his horse, drew his longsword, and let out a clear shout:

"Where are the cavalry?"

The 10 cavalrymen, who had been conserving their strength, donned their heavy armor with the help of their squires, mounted their horses, and shouted in unison:

"Ready to charge!"

Hawk laughed heartily, brandishing his sword and pointing forward, loudly shouting:

"Charge!"

A silver-white light appeared from Hawk's body, enveloping each cavalryman, instantly accelerating their speed.

In just four or five breaths, the cavalry had reached the peak of their charging momentum!

Advanced Aura—Wedge!

Charge-up time halved, duration extended by half, impact power increased by half!

This was a secret technique Hawk had learned from the Kingdom of Locke at great cost.

With him leading, the cavalry unit was like a sharp spear, piercing deeply into the murloc ranks.

Whether it was the swinging longswords or the warhorses protected by battle energy, they easily destroyed the murlocs' bodies.

A touch would wound, a hit would kill!

In just a few breaths, they had cut a sharp path through the encircling murlocs, easily slaughtering over a hundred blocking their way.

Their valiant performance greatly boosted the morale of the transport team.

Bobo nervously raised his head, carefully lifting his steel trident.

He was just about to call his brothers to flee.

But he watched helplessly as the human knight, whose strength terrified him, charged straight ahead without looking back, crashing into the mist along the road.

Ran?

He ran!!!

This unexpected development made Bobo, who had lost over half his forces and was ready to retreat, stop in his tracks.

He greedily eyed the various weapons among the transport team soldiers and excitedly babbled:

"Robbery... success!!"

"Hahaha, Bobo is the best!"

The surrounding murlocs also joined in, howling in excitement after hearing his shout.

At that moment, an excited Bobo suddenly froze, glaring viciously at the surrounding murlocs, roaring angrily:

"Idiots, stop shouting!!"

But the murlocs seemed to have lost their minds, panicking and fleeing in all directions, no matter how much Bobo shouted, they didn't look back.

Bobo was on the verge of tears, watching these stupid creatures run off with the weapons he had handed out.

He suddenly felt empty inside and let out a miserable wail:

"Wuwuwu..."

"These stupid things, such useless fools, next time I'll pick smarter ones!"

Just then, the crisp sound of horse hooves suddenly came from behind, making Bobo's heart skip a beat as he turned in terror to look back.

The cavalry that had disappeared into the mist were already charging at him from behind!

"Wah, run!!"
